Hilary felt helpless. Every single time she tried to tell the truth, Janet and Devon always managed to work something out. They stayed together, despite her best efforts. Hilary thought that Janet had a child, she thought that Devon was being played, but no, she was actually wrong.
She knew that Janet was hiding something, she just didn't know what. She had heard through a grapevine that it was big. But again, she didn't know what.
As Hilary sat on the edge of her bed, she viciously read a new magazine article about a 'successful local dance show' that occurred in Harlem. As she furiously read the words, the names 'DEVON EMMET' and 'JANET JACKSON' stood out to her in big, bold letters. For whatever reason, reading it made her incredibly angry. Angry and confused.
It made her realise that no matter what she does, Devon and Janet would always win. Well, that was about to change. For once, she'll get what she wants. Soon, Janet and Devon will fall, and she will be there to see it all unravel.
