We arrive at my childhood home,

Ugh.

It looks exactly the same as it did 5 years ago. Inside and out.

So many horrible memories flooded into my mind.

I open the large mahogany doors and am greeted by my old friend an maid Larissa.

"Larissa?"

"Miss Amelia?"

I go up to her and hug her. She hugs back. Larissa used to play with me and Sergio, but after what happened on my 13th birthday, I locked myself in my room and didn't interact with anyone. I've always felt bad for not bringing her with me when I left, but my parents treat their servants much better than their daughter. Well, when they do what they are told.

"How are you?" I ask

"I've been fine! But, it has been pretty quiet around here these past 5 years."

"I Bet. I did make quite a ruckus!"

I laugh at the memories of the three of us sneaking into the kitchen or the stables at night. I was quite a curious kid. But, that's how I met Fycell. My dragon. My true parent.

"Well, uh, let me take you to your mother. She's in the main parlor"

We walk into one of the side rooms then into the main parlor

She was sitting at on a plush couch next to the fire place. When she saw us she stood and walked over.

"Oh daughter!" My mother greets me with false love

She wore her famous long red dress with the slit down the side. Her platinum blond hair in an elaborate up-do. Her green eyes blazing. Honestly, It's quite weird, But for some reason, I look nothing like my parents.

"Hello,mother" I say in monotone

"It's so nice to see you again! You had us so worried." She said as she hugged me, I didn't return it.

"You were never this worried about me when I would run off as a child"

"Well, you would always be back before night fall, most of the time." If you didn't know my mother, you would seriously think that she was genuinely worried about me. But I see the hatred in her eyes.

She resents me and I don't know why. While I'm here, it's my goal to find out.
