These past few days, the energy in the guild has just gone downhill. Mira and Elfman have been out a lot, Natsu and Gray aren't fighting at all, and almost everyone else is sulking. It took a little bit, but I finally figured it out. Lisanna. The day she died is tomorrow. Ugh. I feel so bad for everyone. Even Laxus is acting different. To get out of the room of despair, I decided to go on a job.
I walk over to the board and find a decent one. All I have to do is defeat a few monsters. Then Gajeel walked over. "Hey Amelia" he said, leaning against the wall. "Hey Gajeel" I say back. "Want me to join you?" He asked, referring to the job. I shook my head. "Nah, I haven't taken one by myself in a while. Plus, levy needs you right now" I said the last part a little quieter. Yup. They finally made it official a few weeks ago. They were so cute together. He nodded. "Fine. But come back alive. If you don't I'll kill ya." He said jokingly. "I don't think you can kill a ghost" I said, straining to pat his head. "You're so short." He said with a smirk. "I'm taller than your girlfriend" I say with a smirk as I walk towards the door. "Bye guys. I'll be back tomorrow. Don't die" I say as I leave. A chorus of soft goodbyes followed as I closed the guild doors. Then, I walked to the train station and left for Clover.
Once the train stopped, I hopped off the train and headed to the outskirts of town near the mountains. When I got there, I found the house and knocked on the door. "Hello? I'm here for the job request!" I call outside the door. Then, it opens, revealing a tall slender woman with honey eyes and short lilac hair. "Oh hello, are you from Fairy Tail?" She asked. I turned and showed her my gold guild mark. "Yup! Amelia Janelle at your service." I say with a smile, making her giggle. "I'm Helena.Come on in" she said, moving out of the way of the entrance. I nodded and entered the house.
"Ouch! Samuel don't hit me!". "Give it back Avrie!". "No! It's mine you guys!". "Aiden it's mine!". I giggled at the three quarreling children. "Samuel, Avrie, Aiden! Stop it right now. We have a guest!" The three children stopped and looked at me. Samuel had honey eyes like his mother, with short reddish brownish hair. Avrie, the only girl of the three, was the spitting image of her mother, except her hair was long and was in a braid going down her back. Aiden looked nothing like the other two, except he had hair like Samuel that made his bright blue eyes pop. They all shared some resemblance and looked about the same age, so I guessed that they were triplets. Then a man entered the room.
"Who's here Helena?" The man said. He looked like an older version of Aiden. I stepped out from behind the honey eyed woman to introduce myself. "Hi. I'm Amelia. I'm a Fairy Tail wizard. I came to fill this request you sent to our guild" I say, showing the paper. "Oh of course! I'm Caden" he said holding out his hand for me to shake. I gladly shook it. "Here, come sit down" Helena said, pointing to the couch. I nodded and headed over, the kids all squirming to sit next to me. The adults sat on the other one across from me. "Ugh move over Avrie!" Aiden whined. "I can't! I don't want to squish her!" She argued. I chuckled at the sight. "Here" I said, putting the lilac haired girl in my lap. "Better?" "Much" the three answered in unison
"Triplets, huh?" I said, playing with Avrie's hair. The parents laughed. "Nope, quadruplets" Helena answered. "Oh! Wheres the other one?" I asked. "She's resting. The big monsters attacked her" Samuel answered, making my eyes go wide. "Oh, is she ok?" I questioned. "She should be fine, but we haven't let the other three out of the house since. Shanti, our other daughter got lost in the woods and they surrounded her. If a mage from mermaid heel wasn't out there too, she would've been killed." Caden said. "What type of monster?" I asked. "Mountain Vulcans. There's 6 of them" Helena answered, looking down. I sighed. "I see." I said. Then I felt pudgy hands on my cheeks.
