Sia stood in the warm glow of the kitchen, the aroma of simmering spices enveloping her as she meticulously stirred the pot on the stove. Through the window, she could see Jiya and Kiyan frolicking in the garden, their laughter blending with the rustle of leaves.
Suddenly, the shrill ring of the doorbell shattered the tranquility of the evening. Sia's brow furrowed in annoyance, but she wiped her hands on her apron and made her way to the door.
As she swung it open, her heart skipped a beat at the sight of her parents standing on the doorstep.
"Mom, Dad!"
she exclaimed, her face breaking into a wide grin as she engulfed them in a tight embrace.
"Surprise, darling!"
her mother exclaimed, returning the hug with equal fervor.
Sia ushered them inside, the warmth of their presence infusing the air with nostalgia and joy.
"Please, come in,"
she said, leading them to the cozy living room where plush couches awaited.
Seated on the couch, her parents exchanged smiles, their eyes alight with affection.
"We are going to States after few days so thaught to see you and jungkook and our grandchildren,"
her father said, his voice filled with warmth.
Sia's heart swelled with happiness at the thought of her children's delight.
"They'll be over the moon to see you,"
she said, her voice tinged with excitement as she hurried off to fetch Jiya, Kiyan, and their father Jungkook from the garden.
Meanwhile, in the garden, Jiya and Kiyan were chasing after Jungkook, their laughter echoing in the crisp evening air.
"Catch me if you can!"
Jungkook teased, darting playfully between the bushes as the children giggled and gave chase.
As Sia stepped into the garden with her hands behind her back , there was an amiable smile on her face seeing her kids playing with jungkook. Their playful giggles echoed in the garden mingling with the sound of gush of wind.
“ Jia , kiyan "
Sia called them standing at distance from them.
As her voice gained their attention both kids' faces morphed into annoyance as they thought their mother was calling them earlier than their playtime ended .
“ Mom we still have time to play ‘
Kiyan showed time by clasping Jungkook's large wrist in his tiny hand which he couldn't even make a perfect circle. He lifted Jungkook's hand in the air , showing his mother the time .
Jungkook' narrowed his eyes at Kiyan .
" I have surprise for you “
Sia said smiling.
" Surprise!”
Both Kiyan and Jiya squealed in joy .
Sia slowly moved aside only to reveal their grandparents standing behind her smiling lovingly at the sight.
her children's faces lit up with surprise and delight at the sight of their grandparents. "Grandma! Grandpa!" they exclaimed in unison, running into their arms with boundless energy.
As Jiya and Kiyan caught sight of their grandparents, Jiya's eyes lit up with joy, and Kiyan's face broke into a wide grin. Without hesitation, they dashed towards their grandparents, their little feet barely touching the ground as they enveloped Jiya and Kiyan in tight hugs.
