Sarah stood frozen, her emotions swirling between disbelief, fear, and anger.

"So... you're saying I should just walk away? Leave Taehyung because of some curse that may or may not even be real?"

Her father’s voice was firm.

"Yes. If they were selfish enough to hide this from you, then you have every right to be selfish too. This is your life, Sarah. You can’t throw it away for someone who kept something like this from you. They’ve already put you in danger by not telling you about his curse"

Sarah’s face hardened as she absorbed the reality of the situation. Her love for Taehyung clashed with her survival instincts, and the selfishness that had always been buried deep inside her began to surface. Her voice, which had once been soft and full of affection, grew colder.

"You're right, Dad,"

she said slowly, her eyes narrowing.

"They’ve been selfish for their son. They’ve hidden this from me, knowing that I could be in danger too. Why should I throw my life away for them? For him?"

Her voice gained strength as she continued, her decision solidifying in her mind.

"I won’t marry him. I can’t marry someone who is cursed. If I do, that curse will come for me too, and I’m not going to let that happen. I have my own future to think about—my career, my dreams. I can’t waste my life on something like this."

Her mother, relieved to hear Sarah’s decision, nodded

. "We’ll leave. We’ll go right now. You don’t have to explain anything to them. This isn’t your burden to carry."

Her father gave her a proud nod. "That’s the right choice, Sarah. We’ll pack up and leave. They did wrong by hiding this from you. You deserve better."
