5. Marriage Proposal to be accepted

"I can't believe this, Mr. Gyeon betrayed us. Chanyeol when you went there what did you see?" Asked his impatient father.

"When I went there I saw Diyeon kissing someone. My mind went blank. I just went out of that place and now I am here. I think they know that I saw the scene." Chanyeol said innocently.

"Can't believe I imagined her to be our bride. But what will we do imagine the press and stocks. I hoped you would have been a married man at the end of this year but look now, Do Kyungsoo is also dating Kai."

"I know someone who would make a perfect bride."

"Who son?"

"Byun Baekhyun"

"Byun Baekhyun... Ah do you mean that boy from Byun family. Certainly not. Just compare our family statuses and wait a minute... Are you two dating? Answer me once Park Chanyeol."

"No father, But I love him. I will be honest. When you told me to spy on him it was then I felled for him. I couldn't think of any person except him for my bride. Imagine if we hold a little drama about my marriage with someone from an ordinary family, people will believe we are someone who doesn't differentiate it will be well for stocks. Our public image will get better than most of the other companies."

"Park Chanyeol!!! Pull yourself together. Are you saying you fell in love with him.. Did I taught you that?"

"But.. Father.." He was about to say something.

"Leave!! Give me some time to think... First that Gyeon and now you..." Screamed his father.

He wanted to say something but left as he knew his father is very angry right now and need some time to think. Seeing his crestfallen look, his mother approached him.

"Chan, what happened to you? Are you sad?"

He looked at his mother giving him concerning look.

"Mother... It's just that.. How can i say this.."

"Dear calm down and tell me everything." She assured him.

"There is someone I love. His name is Baekhyun. I really love him. I want to marry him not that slut Diyeon."

"How come you didn't tell me that you were dating someone?" His mother raised an eyebrow.

"No..  We were not dating. It's that father told me to spy on him as it is a matter involving Syungnim but as the time went by I felled for him. Please do something I really love him. Mother did you want a slut to be my partner?"

"No, son of course not. I will think of something to ensure your marriage with him. Can I atleast look who is the one who stole my son's heart?"

"Of course, mother." He said blushing. He showed a photo of his Baek  to his mother.

"He is really beautiful and cute. No wonder you love him. But dear, what you did was wrong. You shouldn't have stalked him. It's not ethical. Promise me you will apologize to him for that."

"Yes mother, I will after marriage. I promise that I will make him happy."

His mother smiled at him.

"Okay then, I will confess your father about this." With this she left to meet his father in the study room.

Chanyeol was really happy.  He knew that somehow his mother will handle everything. A silent prayer was muttered continuously by him.

Time skip to dinner...

The dinning room was surrounded with silence. Chanyeol was really anxious and couldn't even look at his father. He wanted to hurriedly eat and go back to his room.
