27. Heartfelt Reunion

Baekhyun was sitting on his bed in hospital. It's been one month now  he is in his recovery stage. He wonders about the dramatic changes, he had underwent. He felled in love with someone and that person turned out be a mafia. During games, he always liked to play as mafia but having a real life partner was something else. In this span of recovery, Sehun, Lay, Suho, Xiumin, Kyungsoo and his parents were with him. He longed for seeing one face, Yes! The face of his dear husband. He was asked why he took the bullet for Chanyeol, Baekhyun too shy it say that he cannot live without the latter, that much he loves him said that it was of his reflex.

Though he hasn't seen the face of Chanyeol but he is aware that he was upto something, he can sense this, Moreover, Sehun told Baekhyun that every single thing how Chanyeol first saw him and everything. He still remembers the conversation with Sehun.

"Sehun!! Please don't make a joke?!"

"Baekhyun, please believe me. Ask Kyungsoo as well. He too knew long along that Chanyeol was head over heels for you. He stalked you too but seeing you in fear, he didn't saw you for next 6 months.

"Sehun, so Chanyeol knew me since I was in high school."

"Yes! Now, let me fill the details of your marriage. He pursued you way back but that that fool didn't even came right in front of you. Oh and you know that Gyeon Diyeon?"

"Ah.... Well that woman who tried to drug me in a party?"

"Yes, That Wench! She was to marry him but him being fallen with you perfectly executed his plan and now you are his partner. But one thing I must say, I don't know how he convinced his father? So how are you feeling now?"

"I don't know whether, how should I react, him stalking me, dragging me in this chaos.. It angers me but thinking about it now, I couldn't live my life without him. He came like a storm in my life and now I feel blissful as his presence has left a rainbow. But why didn't he told me sooner?"

"I don't know. Maybe he was looking for a prefect moment but that moment never arrived and things were rushed like this. But didn't knew you think this thing about him..." Sehun said in a teasing tone.

Baekhyun cheeks had a pink hue after hearing this. He should be aware of speaking of this things. Sehun is friend of Chanyeol too. What would happen if he would tell this to his husband?

"I am going to tell Chanyeol about this!" He said with determination but got smack from the latter.

More teasing could've happened if Sehun's phone didn't rang. He picked up the phone and went outside after excusing himself from Baekhyun.

Baekhyun was sitting alone for a couple of moments. Reviving all things about Chanyeol that Sehun had said.

He heard a sound near the door at looked at it. His heart skipped a beat. There was standing, the love of his life. Seeing him after 1 month without his love and moreover,  in this condition was painful but he is now front of him. At first, he couldn't believe the sight in front of him. But Chanyeol approached and sat beside him. Tears in his eyes. He touched Baekhyun's cheeks. It was sure that he missed him too. Before Baekhyun can speak.

Chanyeol kissed his forehead. He closed his eyes feeling the warmth. Then the latter kissed him on his lips. The kiss was a passionate one. Baekhyun had his arms  around Chanyeol's shoulders, pulling him closer, while the taller had his hands on Baekhyun's waist not pulling as he knew he was in recovery stage.

After, pulling back, both of them stared at each other's eyes, they missed each other.

"It's all over Baekhyun. I am no longer a Mafia."

"What ?but how? and that Shinjung?"

"He is in jail. He was corrupted way back before, in all this time, I did a thorough research on him putting him in jail closing all my illegal businesses. You said you wanted me to leave all of this. Only if I had listened to you much earlier, you wouldn't have been like this." At the last statement Chanyeol bursted in tears, he was hugged by Baekhyun who had tears in his eyes too."
