25. Gearing up for the plan.

Shinjung was lying in the mansion, with one hand sipping a glass of wine and the other looking outside the busy roads of the city through his window. He was having the taste of his victory.

"Chanyeol is busted and now the Park Group wouldn't have a strong heir which would ultimately cause their destruction."

He was in his thoughts when he heard a door knock.

"Come in!"

One of his man said-
"We haven't seen Chanyeol in the office for 4 days. Their value of stock prices have fallen, I think it will be best to buy their stocks."

"That's no big deal but try to keep an eye on him, he wouldn't just stop here. Give me more of his details in future."

"Yes sir."

Two days later....

"Sir, I have a incredible news."

"What is it?"

"Chanyeol has arrived in his office and is planning to invest in construction project of 'ARK Towers' the project is under 'Do enterprises' and he is the first person to have that recommended."

"That must be so beneficial to him investing at this crucial stage, let's invest in that too."

"But sir, we also have some dealings regarding 3 other projects..."

"Let's invest in all four."

"But.."

"I know the cause of your hesitation but Victory comes to those who are willing to take risk, just do what I say."

"Yes sir."

"Sir, Baekhyun's condition has improved. You can meet him." Mr. Kim said

"No. I have promised myself that I will oy see him after I have cleared my name. I am in the process of removing all the illegal stuff and cutting off the underworld ties."

"And about Shinjung.."

"He has fallen in my trap that man would be able to stand the upcoming storm. His foolishness which he calls his wisdom would be the cause of his misery."

"Now I want you to send that news to him till tomorrow's afternoon and Kyungsoo to him."

"Ofcourse, Sir."

Next day afternoon..

Shinjung's secretary entered his office.

"Sir, Mr. Park has withdrawn his investment."

"What?!!! But why??"

"It appears that Mr. Do and him have been engaged into fight causing the deals to back off. "

"That's strange."

Around the 4'o clock, Shinjung was quite surprised to see the that in morning his appointment has been fixed with Do Kyungsoo.

Both the men greeted each other and shook their hands.

"I am aware of the project undertaken by  your conpany. I have also seen it as a profitable one."

"This is the only reason you have invested." Kyungsoo said smirking.
Shinjung didn't reply. Kyungsoo continued.

"Well, you are only aware of that but there is one hidden thing. Politician taejoon is also involved in our deal so there wouldn't be any such trouble caused due to government, so I have decided to earn maximum profit by it."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because it is beneficial to you. I also shared this information with Chanyeol, and this alone news made him invest in it. But yesterday we had a fight, he has withdrawn his sum. If you want to invest you can otherwise forget our meeting."

Their meeting ended in rather silence leaving Shinjung in his thoughts.

"If that's the case, we should invest more." He thought.

At the hospital...

"Sehun, have I done something wrong?"

"Why are you saying this, Baek?"

"My family, you, Kyungsoo, Xiumin and Kai, Chen as well as Mr. Kim has visited me, they ask about my condition but Chanyeol... I haven't even seen him since the time, I was shot. Have I done a mistake in loving him, to protect him."

"Don't judge. Baek. Chanyeol has some important work which needed to be finished. I asked him the same thing to which he says, he can't forget the scene. He was so heartbroken thinking he was indirectly responsible for your condition. He has taken a self promise to only see you after finishing his plan. Shinjung will pay for his sins. You will see a new and happy Chanyeol. Just hang on a bit. Baekhyun."
