Reina walked forward and pushed her body against the door, opening it to go inside. She glanced around, noticing no sign of anyone inside besides the dust that resided on the walls, and the occasional spiderweb in the corner. She sighed, glad that she didn't have to interact with anyone but herself.

Haven must be busy on an adventure today, saving 'mons lives. Something Reina wished she were doing right now, but she supposed she could be patient and wait for tomorrow.

Tomorrow! The day when she would take a quest from the quest board and go on her first adventure. A day she was sure she would remember forever.

Reina stopped dawdling at the doorstep, making her way to the bookshelf that stood parallel to her bed. Gazing at the names of the books that adorned the shelf, she decided on one that she would spend her time reading.

After the meeting had ended, Erin and Reina decided to split ways for the day because of how socially worn out Reina was. It was hard to talk to anyone, let alone 'mons so important such as the Guild leaders.

Reina sighed, carrying the book she had decided on to her bed and opening it to the page she left off. It was an encyclopedia about herbs and berries and how to utilize them in dangerous situations, like when a Pokemon has a poisoned or paralyzed status.

She flipped through the pages, intrigued even if it was a little hard to get through. She had trouble comprehending the words, even if they were right in front of her. Even so, she kept on, interested in learning as much as possible to be prepared for the worst.

Persim berry is for confusion, oran is for restoring health, Pecha is for poison-

Reina was startled as the door opened abruptly, almost hitting the wall before it was grabbed by a paw to stop it from slamming. A silver-furred eevee walked through the door, a clearly angry expression plastered on her face. Reina shrank back a little, scared that it would be taken out on her. Haven saw this and raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not gonna hurt you. Unless you try something, of course." Haven said, trying to calm down the Reina. Even so, that anger was still hidden in her voice. Reina sighed in relief.

"I--uhm, yeah." Reina tried to say, stuttering a little. She internally facepalmed at her words, unable to talk properly. Haven let out a snort, looking at the eevee mischievously.

"I'm gonna have to battle you some time. If you're good enough, that is." Haven started, still keeping eye contact with the eevee. Reina looked away, embarrassed by the staring. "No one else around here can battle. I need better opponents." She explained, but Reina seemed to doubt that. No one? Surely there were stronger 'mons...

Haven twitched her ears, seeming to notice the eevee's disbelief. "No one that doesn't annoy my tail off, that is. I choose not to entertain them." Haven told the disbelieving eevee, turning away as she walked over to her bed. She settled down, groaning at whatever it was he was thinking of.

Reina felt a smile forming on her face, entertained by the shiny eevee's antics. She nodded in understanding, but Haven likely didn't see as she was facing away from her by now.

"You have no idea how much of a disaster today's exploration was," Haven began to say, turning over to face Reina as she spoke. She had a nonchalant look in her eyes, casually playing with her paws as she spoke. "My teammates never listen to me, and it always lands us in a ditch or some other mess. It's starting to really bother me." Haven said, placing heavy emphasis on the word "really". Reina nodded in response. But when had Haven been so comfortable around her to be this casual about her... qualms?

"We've been..." Haven tried to say, but she trailed off and stood up. She stared at the window for a moment before Reina questioned her.

"What is it?" Reina asked curiously, and Haven just continued to stand in silence, gazing out the window. Reina felt a bit awkward for a moment, just waiting for a response.
