Taylor's POV
"Star, put that down." I said. She put down the bag of candy she had, but picked up another bag. I sighed. We were at the grocery store shopping. Charles was suppose to have gotten Star so I could shop, but as usual he had to go to the studio. I picked Star up and sat her in the cart. Then, I started shopping. "Ugh! The life of being short." I thought to myself as I tried to the reach the tissue on the top shelf. "Who thought to put the tissue up here?" I said. Star was laughing at me. "Maybe they thought that just so a man could meet pretty lady." a deep voice said behind me. I saw long arms reach up and get a pack of tissue and handed it to me. I turned around and saw a fine man. Damn. (A/N: His picture is on top. It's Trey Songz!) I smiled at him. "Hi." I said. "Hi." he said. We both were just staring at each other until Star started whining. The stranger looker at her and smiled. "Hey, pretty little lady." he said, shaking her hand. She smiled. Then, he started tickling her. She started laughing. "Her name is Star." I said. "Hi, Star! I'm Timothy." he said. She kept smiling. "May I get the pleasure of knowing your name?" he asked. "Taylor." I said. He stuck his hand out. I shook his hand. "Does that mean I can get your number to schedule a play date?" he said. "You have children?" "I meant a date between us." "I'm married." "That's why it is a play date. No harm done." I thought for a second. "Just coffee. Maybe the start of a friendship." Why not? I could use some friends. Charles isn't giving me any attention. I got a piece of paper out my purse and a pen. I split the paper in half. I wrote my number down and he wrote his down. "I will text you later." he said. "You do that." I said. He gave my hand a kiss and then walked off giving me a smile and a wink. I let out a breath I didn't realize I had been holding. Oh my gosh. Aren't you living on the edge?Author's Note
