Chapter 15

Y/n's POV:

A few months later, your dragons were finally fully grown. Meaning in just a few days, you and your rebellion will be ready to take down King Augustus. The excitement you felt was strong enough that you even made your own leather outfit for the day.
It was fireproof so if flames had to be involved, this time you wore your clothes and kept them instead of them turning to ash.

Tomorrow was the day and everyone who was on your side knew it. A knock on the door was heard and you watched as Yuno walked in. You sent him a small smile, your stomach fluttering by just seeing him. He looked almost nervous,
" Meet my in the library in 30 minutes,"
You nodded and watched him walk away.

30 minutes later, you went to the library and it confused you that it was the time when no one was barely in.
When you walked in, there was nobody to be seen only Yuno, who was sitting on a blanket in front of the lit fireplace. The only thing that lit up the room was the large fire in the fireplace and the candles that went around. You looked at the scenery in awe, seeing all the different kinds of food that was neatly placed down.

" Yuno, what is all of this?"
You asked in awe.

He just sent you a small smile and let you sit beside him comfortably on the blanket. The warmth of the fire pricked your skin as he nervously looked at his hands. " There's been something I have wanted to tell you for a while now, I just haven't had the guts to do it,"

Before you could even process what he meant, he had already leaned forward and placed his lips on yours. They were soft and warm. Your eyes widened in surprise, but when you had fully processed what was going on, you instantly kissed back.
You rapped your arms around his neck, increasing the intensity off the kiss, letting him slip his arms around your waist.

Soon, you pulled away for air and sent him a small smile, he asked, " I guess this means you like me back right?"
You let out a small laugh and pecked his lips again,
" Does that answer your question?"

He just rolled his eyes and continued to make out with you on the blanket.

After your small date with Yuno, you went to bed, knowing the next day was the day you have been waiting for. When you awoke the next morning,
you got dressed into leather clothes and did your hair into a long, white dutch braid.
You then realised it was only Yuno who knows about this plan, the rest of your friends will just have to accept this.

You climbed up the wing of Aesir, and gripped on her large scales. Yuno climbed up Aegir and departed beside you on the dragons. They were large enough to be seen across the whole Kingdom.
Underneath you, the rebellion had their magic ready and cheered your name. It had increased yet again and you have never been happier.

" Charge!"
You yelled and they obliged, storming into the castle walls. The guards were easily defeated because of how much people there were, it was enough to be considered a whole town.

However, they were just the distraction for to head into the throne room. You were hovering over where the King lays and smirked,
" Dracarys ( Set fire )"

With that, both of your dragons opened their wide jaws and fire came blasting out like a wave. It burned the exterior of the castle down, making the walls fall, revealing the terrified king.
You slid down your dragons wing and landed gracefully on the floor, glaring at the man in pure hatred and anger.
The thirst of revenge was stronger than ever.

" You have what belongs to me, you King Prick",
You spat with venom.

He visibly trembled, and the best thing was the guards that was supposed to protect him and fled after hearing the news of the attack from the rebellion. So he was all alone and defenceless.
Augustus gasped in pure horror,
" A Vaelron! I killed your people, how are you still alive?!"
He yelled in anger, but there was fear within his voice that you had picked up on.

" We Vaelron's have our ways when it comes to taking back what's ours,"

Your dragons hovered over you, glaring at the man that made their kind almost extinct, considering they were the only two left.
" Dacrarys"
With that the dragons followed your command and blew fire towards the King. He burned and screamed from the heat of the fire and soon fell as a burnt corpse. Yuno, using his wind magic, quickly to the crown on his head before it melted with him and placed it on your head.

The main jewel on the crown glowed from the absence of a true heir royal, making you smile in victory. You walked out onto the balcony, to see your rebellion was cheering for you whilst you wore the grown. The Squad Captain's eyes widened at the sight, even Julius was surprised, he knew in that moment that your memories were back.

Soon enough, the entire Clover Kingdom heard the news and they were never happier. They were glad that the reign of Tyranny was over and that the royal throne was with someone who was destined to take it back.

You felt the magic of being a royal course through your veins and soon it all became overwhelming that it shot out of your body and towards the broken and burnt walls. The castle reconstructed the walls with the magic, changing the one Augustus style palace to what it originally looked like.

You yelled at everyone with kindness and respect, a proud look at your face,
" From now on, I am your rightful Queen!
I'm Y/n Vaelron and will do anything to protect this Kingdom from harm,"

The cheers got louder and you made sure your voice boomed throughout the Kingdom, holograms of you and your dragons appearing so people could watch it like TV.
You smirked at this and stared in the distance where your best friend used to live,

" I won't let your sacrifice go in vain, I promise Davian,"
You whispered, attacking that kingdom was your next target.
