The boys of the Shiratorizawa boys' volleyball club reintroduced themselves. This time, Tendou remained silent. Between Semi scolding him, and Ushijima giving the redhead a mini lecture, the older middle blocker ended up acting as kind as he could. He kept his mouth shut whenever he thought of making comments that would probably cause you to leave, in turn breaking Kawanishi's heart. The last thing the team needed was a skilled player to be crushed from the love of his life leaving him after getting angry at the guys he spent most of his time with.

Shirabu even started smiling and laughing as you told the guys about how you first started learning volleyball. "You really hit every single person in the head when you tried doing a jump serve for the first time?!"

You blushed, nodding sheepishly. "It was an accident. Riko and Taichi both fell on their faces. I cried and ran to Taichi's side to see if he was ok. He didn't respond at first so I wailed and tried begging one of the instructors to help by getting a first aid kit or call an ambulance. After a few minutes, Taichi started laughing and assured me it was fine. His exact words were 'wow, you hit hard' and I chuckled while tears still streamed down my face. Then I went over to Riko, and she had apparently been knocked out by the hit to her head. We actually did get one of the club's medics to come over and have her sit out for the rest of the week."

Semi chuckled, trying to keep himself from cackling at the funny memory. "How long did it take for you to get the jump serve right, though?"

You hummed, placing your hand on your chin. "I think it took a month before I could consecutively hit it in bounds. It took about half a year before I perfected it."

Kawanishi chimed in. "It actually took you two and a half months before you could constantly hit it within the scoring zone. At the end of the first month was when you stopped hitting the net with your serve."

You nod, smiling at the boy. "Thank you. I'm glad one of us could remember."

Your best friend chuckled. "Which is funny, since I should be the one with brain damage after that serve to the head."

You pouted. "Oh, come on! It wasn't that hard!"

Tendou snickered. "That's what she said."

Yamagata grinned. "I'm pretty sure it should be that's what he said."

You all went silent for a few moments. Then you all burst out laughing together.

You were giggling while trying to calm yourself down. "You both might be right."

Ushijima had a faint smile on his face. "Well, L/n, how do you feel about all of us now?"

You look at each of them, the smile not leaving your face. "You're all actually pretty cool. I guess it really did just take some time to get to know all of you. I needed the chance to warm up. Even though we started off on the wrong foot, I can actually see why Taichi enjoys being around all of you so much. I'm glad he made some good friends. I don't think I have to worry about him all the time."

Semi smiled at you. "I'm glad. Thank you for giving you the chance to get to know us better. We really wanted things to go well today, since Kawanishi was looking forward to this day more than anything else."

Shirabu nodded. "It was all he could talk about. In our dorm, we would keep trying to tell me more about you. What you look like, your personality, what he likes best about you. He was hoping for today to go so well that we could plan more time to hang out together. I'm actually really happy to have met you, L/n. You're pretty cool, and probably the only girl any of us have met that we can actually get along with and relate to."

Kawanishi hugged you. "Thank you so much for coming and giving them the chance to get to know you. I'm so glad that my new friends and my best friend get along now."

You raise your brow at the first year setter. "What exactly did Taichi say he likes about me?"

The boy hugging you stiffened. "That's not important."

Shirabu grinned. "Your smile, how you're always so kind to others, your laugh, your pretty eyes, you melodic voice. Those are the big ones he kept talking about. He also said he loved how you're so willing to try new things just to make him happy. He's really happy to have you in his life."

You chuckled. "Oh, really? Well, I'm glad I have him in my life too."

Kawanishi's face was red. "Why'd you have to expose me like that, Shirabu?" He groaned, burying his head into your shirt.

You rubbed his head, ruffling his hair in the process. "Aw, poor baby. Don't be embarrassed. I like knowing what about me makes your heart beat faster."

"Don't you start, Y/n. I will leave you."

You stick your tongue out at him. "You would never, you love me too much to leave me."

"I hate that you're right." He grumbles, sitting up without leaning on you.

Shirabu snickered. "You should've known I was gonna say shit. You know me better than anyone else here. It's in my personality to expose your ass like that."

Semi sighed, shaking his head. "Go easy on the language. Anyways, it's been an absolute delight to spend the afternoon with you, L/n. I'm glad we got the chance to meet you and get to know you a little. I see why Kawanishi likes you so much. You're a really good person with a heart of gold. He's lucky to have someone like you looking out for him."

You beam at the older setter. "Why, thank you, Semi-san. This has actually been quite fun. We should hang out again some time."

Kawanishi looked at you, happy to see you enjoying yourself. "I'm happy you feel that way, Y/n. We can start planning for the next time we see each other. Maybe we can meet off campus next time."

"I'd like that."

Ushijima looked at you. "You said you were meeting up with Oikawa and some of the others from Aoba Johsai. When do you need to leave?"

You quickly grab your phone out of your pocket, checking the time. "I still have an hour before I need to meet up with them. Why don't you guys tell me more about your team, or your experiences here at Shiratorizawa?"

And so, the boys decided to tell you a few fun stories of their time together while you still had time to hangout. When the hour was up, you kindly got up and said your goodbyes to everyone. Kawanishi walked you to the entrance of the school grounds, giving you a hug goodbye and kissing your forehead before you walked off. He watched your retreating form until you completely disappeared out of sight.

He lets out a sigh. 'I wasn't able to get the answer I was hoping for. Looks like I need to make more plans to spend time with Y/n. Within time, she'll be my girlfriend.' He smiles to himself before walking back to his dorm.
