35: Results?

Much to your surprise, Oikawa and Kawanishi stopped at your house at the end of the night. You open your front door, eyes wide when you see the two boys smiling at you while slinging their arms over each other's shoulders.

You blink, then rub your eyes. You still saw them, just they way they were. "Uh, hey. I see you two are getting along. I'm guessing it was a good day together?"

Oikawa chuckled, walking forward with the boy he was hugging. "It was more than just a good day. We bonded. We found that we have something in common, Y/n-chan!"

You raise a brow. "What? Really? What is it?"

They look at each other, grin, then look back at you. "You."

You take a step back, feeling creeped out. This wasn't what you were expecting, so you were getting ready to close the door in their faces. "I see. Well, thanks for visiting. I'm gonna call it a night." You start closing the door.

Both boys walk forward, keeping the door open. "Wait!" They push it open more and walk inside, taking off their shoes. "Let's spend some time together." They turn to each other. "Beat it. I'm spending time with her. No, me! Stop copying me!"

You back away slowly. "Ok, stop. You guys are freaking me out. "Don't make me call Iwaizumi and Ushijima."

Oikawa gives you a desperate look. "Please, don't!"

Kawanishi sighs, then gives you a smile. "We won't do it again. Just let us stay here with you for a little."

You look between the two boys. "So, you get along now? And bonded over me?"

Oikawa nods. "Yes, but we're not gonna discuss that any further. Can't I stay here with you for little while, Y/n-chan?"

You eye the two boys suspiciously. "I'm calling for help. This is terrifying."

Kawanishi's jaw dropped. "How?! My love, it's me! Your loving boyfriend!"

Oikawa pushed him aside. "Forget him! Y/n-chan! I did what you wanted, and it turned out even better than any of us could've imagined. Don't call anyone."

You had already called. "Yo. Kyoutani, Iwaizumi-senpai, Ushijima, Semi, Shirabu, I need your help. I'm sending you guys my address. I found Skinwalkers or something. Hurry up and get here." You hang up, sending the boys your home address.

Kawanishi and Oikawa looked worried. "You didn't need to do that."

"L/n?"

"Yeah?" You look at the boys you invited over.

Shirabu sighed. "That's Kawanishi and Oikawa. Not some cryptid or other paranormal entity."

You shake your head, looking insane with panic. "No! They were getting along, smiling, touching each other, they even spoke at the same time! That's not the two boys I know and love!"

Oikawa beamed. "You love me?!"

Kawanishi scoffed. "Forget about today. I hate you, Oikawa. Stay away from my girlfriend!"

"Make me!"

You sigh with relief. "Never mind. I guess I panicked a little. They were just acting weird." You watch as they start fighting.

Iwaizumi groans, walking over to hit Oikawa, dragging him away from the middle blocker. "Oikawa, stop with your nonsense. You freaked out L/n enough to call us for help."

Kyoutani stood beside you, wrapping an arm around you. "Is there anything I can get you, Y/n?"

Kawanishi whipped his head to look at the wing spiker. "He calls you by first name?! Wait, he's touching you?!"

You nod, smiling as you wrap an arm around Kyoutani. "This is Kyoutani, my best friend."

Your boyfriend collapses onto your bed. "Kill me now."

Semi just looks at you, Oikawa, and Kawanishi. "So, is this about the agreement you had? Kawanishi and Oikawa spent the day together, as a way for making up for the trouble caused after the finals?"

You nod. "I didn't expect them to actually get along. Apparently I have powers or something." You move your boyfriend to a corner of your bed, then sit down.

Kyoutani sits beside you. "You convinced me to come back to practices. You must be special to actually get people to do whatever you want. I mean, you have everyone here wrapped around your finger, Y/n. You say the word, and we all show up."

You hum, leaning on him. "You may have a point there, Kyoutani."

Kawanishi moved, sitting behind you and wrapping his arms and legs around you. "Stop with whatever you're doing. Only focus on me."

"Are you jealous?"

Your boyfriend pouts. "You called him your best friend, that's my role."

You tilt your head to one side. "You're my boyfriend."

"And best friend!" Kawanishi wailed. "You're replacing me!"

"I'm not, you're overreacting."

Iwaizumi sighed, shaking his head. "I see how Oikawa and your boyfriend get along, L/n. I blame you for this mess. Never do anything like this again."

You gasp, looking at the older boy. "You laughed when I came up with this idea! Don't turn on me now! Kyoutani! Everyone is being mean!" You lean your head on his shoulder.

Kawanishi harshly pulled you away from your friend, cuddling you. "I'm right here, you don't need to call someone else for help."

Kyoutani snickered. "If this were a life or death situation, she'd choose me over you."

Kawanishi glared. "No, she wouldn't."

You shrug. "I don't know, Kyoutani could definitely beat anyone up. If I were in any real danger, I might call on him first."

Your boyfriend pouted. "You like him more than me."

Oikawa slumped onto the ground. "I'll never make it to the level Mad Dog-chan is on. I have no hope. Iwa-chan, my life is over."

You roll your eyes. "You both are being too dramatic. Like, man up. Kyoutani is my best friend after I worked hard with him. I was the only one making an effort to be friends with him, and the rest of you can be a pain in the ass. Kyoutani doesn't make a big deal out of things, and is super chill. Unless you manage to piss him off."

Kawanishi huffed out a breath. "I'm still your boyfriend."

You turn to him, ruffling his hair. "And I wouldn't change that for the world."
