Branch pouted at Boom, "No nap!" He said, running under the table.

"Branch, come on! Don't make this more difficult then it needs to be."

Boom reached under the table and grabbed onto Branch's legs, trying to pull him out, but Branch had grabbed the leg of the table, so when Boom pulled on him, the table moved as well.

Branch giggled as he weighed himself down with the table, he hugged the table leg, knowing that it was currently the only reason why he wasn't in his bed.

"Come on, kid. It's your bedtime."

Branch thought quickly, how can he delay his bedtime, at least a bit?

Then he remembered one of his tricks that always works.

"Boom, no! I scared.." he whimpered, looking up at the teen with his puppy eyes.

"Branch, you can't..you..dang it! Okay, fine. How about we cuddle on your bed for tonight? Does that make you feel any better?"

Branch hummed and nodded, letting go of the table leg.

Boom held him close and smiled, "Alright then, cuddle time!"

Branch giggled as he was carried off to his room, "Cuddle time!"

Boom wins again.
