"Toy, I just don't understand."

"Kathy, please. I just need you to not tell him where I'm at."

"You're scaring me. What's going on?" LaToya looked down.

"I can't tell you. It's.....I can't tell you."

"Are you in some kind of danger?" Kathy sat up. "Toy."

"Kathy..."

"No, you're my best friend and if someone's trying to hurt you then I'm trying to hurt them." Kathy and LaToya had been bestfriends since highschool. Their bond was inseparable. So when LaToya told Kathy not to tell anyone where she was, she rushed over to her house to get full details. Honestly, she wanted to tell Kathy what was going on, but she knew that as soon as she found out, Kathy would want to go and kill Jack herself. "Toy, what is going on?" She sighed.

"Just know that I'm dealing with it. Give me some time to handle something." Kathy looked at her best friend.

"Fine, but I'm not leaving you alone. I'll tell Richard to look after the kids and bring me my things."

"Kathy..."

"No, I'm not leaving you. I will never forgive myself."

"Okay. Obviously, there's no changing your mind."

"You already know." Kathy hugged LaToya. They pulled apart.

"Now, you have to tell my parents that you're here just to get some time away."

"Okay, but if I don't get into heaven for lying to the Bishop, then I'm dragging you down with me." They laughed.

"Hey, you two." Joseph and Katherine walked in with Janet.

"Hey, Bishop."

"Kathy, how's the new baby?" asked Katherine.

"She's good."

"You'll have to bring her by soon."

"What a coincidence, Toy just invited me to stay here for a little while."

"Really? Why?" asked Bishop. "I mean, of course you are always welcome, but why?"

"It's just a lot dealing with Paris and the new baby, plus Richarc is always working and I have a lot on my plate. So he thinks that me spending some time away from the house with the baby will help." Janet lifted her eyebrow.

"What a thoughtful husband you have. Joe was the same way with me." Kathy smiled. "We'll leave you guys to your conversation." Katherine and Joe left. Janet stayed and looked at LaToya for a second.

"What?" asked LaToya.

"Nothing. Just can't believe how ugly you are." LaToya rolled her eyes.

"Shut up, fat head." Janet gave her a stank face. "Ewww, I can smell your face from here."

"That's just your top lip." Kathy laughed.

"Y'all are hilarious." Janet headed up to her room. In all honesty, she was very suspicious of LaToya's behavior. She had been here for a few weeks and never left the house. LaToya was a very outgoing person. She had tons of friends who always wanted to hang out, plus she was always getting invited to events. So for her to be in the house all the time, is shocking. Now Kathy was staying here, for relaxing purposes. It just didn't make sense. She was almost as rich as Janet's family, meaning if she truly wanted to relax, she had the means to do so. The house stayed very busy, so it really wasn't the ideal place to relax.

When she got up to her room, Janet realized that she had left her bookbag downstairs and she definitely needed to do more work. As she headed back down, she stopped when she heard LaToya and Kathy talking. "Thanks, Kathy."
