Harleen knew she hadn't much time for take a decision. After the explosion at the store, the
same night she was sitting on the bed in a sad and old room of a miserable motel. Joker will
come back again. He will find her wherever she will go, he had ears and eyes everywhere in
Gotham. Time to go far away. Harleen was still wearing the uniform of the work, a dark grey
blouse on black trousers. Her hair in a long brown braid.
" Or to stay..." Harley was too tired for a long trip. The baby was moving a lot, like he or she
was ready to born. Harleen had all her clothes, money and personal things still at her
apartment but she was too scared to go back. Harleen checked her bank account: not enough
money for a one way ticket for another country.
Someone knocked at the door, making Harleen gasp.
- Hey, it's Sylvia. I took your things from your apartment.-
Harley opened the door, Sylvia stared at her with a big plastic bag in her hand.
- Here you are. Your landlord gave me a copy of your key...-
Harleen nodded and took the bag. She greeted Sylvia and tried to close the door but Sylvia
stopped it.
- So, what are going to do now? I mean...none of my business but...-
- That's right Sylvia.- Harleen made a smile- none of your business.- Harleen pulled the door
harder for close it. Sylvia began to be suspected. Like she was trying to take times...
Harleen can't even finish to think about her suspicions when she noticed many police cars
driving straight to the motel.
- FUCK!!! You evil bitch, Sylvia!!!- Yelled Harleen.
Harley of course couldn't find any of her weapons in the bag. She desperately escape from
the window of the bathroom, with no place to go. No energy left, no hopes anymore.
- HARLEY QUINN!!! Stop and put your hands up on your head! Then turn around very
slowly.-
The voice of an officer made Harleen stop. She obeyed, shivering and crying. That was the
end. The end of The Queen. Harleen turned around, many cops were pointing their guns,
ready to shoot at her.
Then, a lake of blood. Again machine gun shots, blood everywhere where the cops were
standing.
"Puddin..." Harleen hated herself when she thought so. All the cops were dead when Joker
went closer to Harleen, but he wasn't alone. He was pushing a scared Sylvia, handcuffed and
with tape on her mouth. Harleen will never forget Sylvia's moaning desperation.
- Harley my darling you know I don't like betrayals. She is so, right?-
Joker slightly touched Harleen's face with the sharp blade of a big knife. Harleen and Sylvia
looked at eachother, tears in tears.
- ISN'T THIS WHORE A BETRAYAL??- Yelled Joker and Harleen nodded. She had never
been so scared in her life.
- It wasn't so hard, see?- Joker smiled kissing Harleen on her cheek.
In an instant he cut Sylvia's head with the knife. Slowly, cruelly and merciless. Harleen
closed her eyes but she could still hear clearly the blade going deeper in Sylvia's neck.
When he finished, Joker threw the head far away. He went close to Harleen and hugged her
tight.
- Let's go home.-
