As Harleen completed her story, Amanda looked at her with a mix of compassion and anger.
Joker abandoned her at her fate but actually what she was trying to do, escaping like that?
Amanda immediately made that question to Harleen.
- I just wanted to be a good mother...- Sighed Harleen- Or at least I tried but...let's be honest. I
don't even know how to do it. And I will never be a good mother.-
- You know Joker better than anyone else. If you help us, you'll get the chance to see Sarah
again. And to take her with you, maybe. It will be a long process but, if you cooperate, you'll
make it.- Said Amanda Waller.
"So do I have to betray my puddin? No...but what about Sarah?"
Harleen had to put on a scale her feelings for Joker and the ones for Sarah.
- Do it for Sarah, Harleen.- Amanda stared at her with her magnetic eyes.
Joker just needed someone who helped him, it didn't matter who. He easily replaced Harleen
with Sarah. Joker was and he will always be a narcissistic, psychotic criminal. And his plans
were to let Sarah become a copy of himself. No, this doesn't have to happen.
- I...I think I could help you.- Whispered Harleen.
- You made the best choice of your life. You won't be alone. A squad will be fastly
prepared...-
- Please...- Harleen looked at Amanda with her eyes full of tears - Don't hurt my puddin. At
the end, he's Sarah's father.-
