Raiden Romano, oldest son of Kane and Rina Romano. Don and donna of the Romano mafia.
He has a 14 year old brother named Emery which he is pretty close with.
Raiden is 18 now and is expected to take his father's place once he steps down. But really no one in his family thinks he's ready for it.
He has a short temper that tends to land bullets inbetween people's eyes. If he doesn't get his way he kills you. That's Raiden Romano. He's reckless , impatient and doesn't seem to have a care for anyone around him.
Raiden was taught how to pull a trigger before he learned how to properly talk and taught how to use the power of his family's name to his advantage once he did learn how to talk. 18 and already can't keep count of how many people he has killed whether it was for the sake of the family , revenge or simply him losing his temper.
Growing up the way he did.. in the family he did he got very skilled at a very young age.
Other kids his age would be playing football at the park , throwing eggs at neighbourhood houses after stupid little kid fights while he was taught to have a perfect aim.
"don't waste a damn bullet Raiden. Miss and i'll shoot you in the leg" His father used to say.
Was taught how to tolorate pain and not make a squeak "Make a sound and I'll break your hand." His uncle Dean used to say.
"Love gets you killed. Find someone who is usefull , someone who has power , someone who makes you stronger not someone who can hurt you with meaningless words." His mom used to say.
And Emery.. "I need you raiden , don't get yourself killed."
Emery is the sweetest little kid really and Raiden tries to protect him from their family's ways but even he knows that certain things are nessecary.
Being part of the mafia isn't a choice when you are born into it , its a duty.
It's kill or be killed.
It was no secret that his parents married for power , not for love.
His family raised him in brutal ways that made him become the person he is now.
Their goal was to make him strong , responsible , clever , a leader. Instead they created someone who kills just to blow off some steam , someone who seems to only have one thing that calms his temper , pulling that damn trigger.
He's not always like that tho. He can't be ofcourse that would look bad for the family and for his own position in the mafia. How can people respect someone who doesn't seem to have an ounce of self control ?
And Raiden knows he has to live up to his families expectations , he has to take his father's place one day because if he doesn't ?
That job will be forced onto Emery.
