CHAPTER SIX. Enrion.

5 YEARS AGO.

RAIDEN ROMANO'S POV , AGE 12.

He's throwing punches at my face , he's fast , faster than me.

He holds my gaze while I dodge his attacks, I manage to punch him in the jaw right before his hand connects with my throath , the punch to my throath makes me choke on my own breath , sending me into a fit of coughing before he simply shoves me to the floor.

My breath gets knocked out of my lungs when I hit the cold concrete floor of the basement , I look up at my cousin Enrion who grins before holding out his hand to help me up , he's two years older than me.

I smack his hand away while catching my breath before hooking my foot around his ankle and jerking my knee to my chest , succesfully sending Enrion flying backwards , I hear him smack against the floor before he groans.

I pull my gun out and aim it at him , he smirks.

I raise my eyebrow at him before pulling the trigger , shooting him in the leg , he flinches before biting his lip hard in response to the pain , I'm unable to translate the string of curses he throws out under his breath.

It's not an actual bullet tho , it's a little metal ball that barely penetrates the skin , it imitates the same pain as an actual bullet just for about a minute without doing the damage an actual bullet could do , its really small and painless after the painlevel fades and it just turns into a harmless little ball.

I watch him and he actually hisses while trying to take out the little metal ball from his leg , making me smile.

He manages to take it out and throws the little ball across the room before catching his breath "Son of a bitch." he breathes.

"Damn right , just don't let her hear it." I tell him , leaning back onto my elbows as I look at him.

He gives me a look.

I chuckle and Enrion bursts out laughing too.

I roll over onto my stomach , suddenly greatfull for the cooling effect of the concrete floor before I push myself up and get to my feet.

I put my gun back into my pants and turn to Enrion who gets up himself , a huge grin plastered onto his face.

"Heard you've been going to school." Enrion speaks up.

I nod "Yeah , got sick of the house." I tell him and he nods in understanding as he walks over to the door , I follow.

It's early in the morning so when we're done training we meet our family , sitting down at the long table where my dad and Dean , my dad's brother , Enrion's dad are discussing something with some other members of the family including Enrion's 2 older sisters , my mom walks in with my nine year old brother Emery who leaves her side and walks over before sitting down with me and Enrion.
