**Audri’s POV**

I scratched my arm and sighed, looking at the ceiling. My stupid teacher rambled on and I turned to her to pretend that I was paying attention. “Audri?” She asked me. “What?” I asked, now paying attention.

“Pay attention!” She snapped, causing me to blush a bit and nod. She went back to her lecture. After the bell rang I practically jumped out of my seat and ran out the door. Niall, Harry and I meet outside my locker every day after school ends so I headed there, meeting with Cris on the way. We talked while we walked to my locker, apparently her and Harry had a date last night. They’re so cute.

We got to my locker and I opened it quickly, shoving books into it and taking some out that I needed for homework. “Did we have history homework?” A familiar Irish voice flooded into my ears. “Yeah, we have to read and outline chapter 24 second 2.” I said, grabbing my History binder. He groaned, his arms circling around my waist.

“Help me?” He asked, resting his chin on my shoulder. I turned to look at him to see he was sporting the perfect puppy dog look. I rolled my eyes, nodding slightly. He smiled, kissing my lips lightly before I pushed him away, blushing.

“Come on, we’re going to the park.” Niall told me, closing my locker and taking my hand, dragging me away. I waved to Cris and Harry before turning and walking next to him, my hand still in his.

He interlocked our fingers together when we sat in the grass. I smiled at him, putting my backpack down next to me and opening it. I grabbed my History book and opened it. “Nerd,” Niall said, pulling me in between his legs. I laughed a bit, smiling as I grabbed my notebook and a pencil.

“I need to do it at some point. Might as well get it over with.” I said, looking at him over my shoulder. He kissed my lips again and I pushed him away… again. He pouted at me but I just smiled and started to do my outline.

“You write so much!” He said, amazed at my work. I shrugged. “I use them for studying later on so it only hurts me if I don’t.” I said, continuing to write. He kissed the side of my neck, causing goosebumps to rise.

My phone ringing brought me out of my History trance. I grabbed it and answered the call. “Hello?” I asked, knowing it was Liam.

“Audri! Where are you!?” He asked loudly. I pulled the phone away from my ear, wincing. “I’m at the park with Niall, calm down.” I said, laughing a bit.

“Get home, right now.” He said before hanging up. I sighed, slipping my phone into my pocket. “I have to get home.” I told him. He nodded, standing up with me and grabbing my book for me and putting it in my bag. He slung the bag over his shoulder and took my hand in his again, intertwining our fingers.

Three days ago Niall told me that he thinks he loves me… yet he hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend. “Niall?” I asked lightly, looking up at him. “Hmm?” He asked, looking down at me with a smile.

“Why haven’t you asked me to be your girlfriend yet?” I asked, blushing madly and regretting every word. He chuckled.

“You’re impatient.” He said, smirking at me. I rolled my eyes at him. “I planned something.” He told me with a wink. I raised an eyebrow at him. “What?” I asked, smiling. “Tell me!” I said when he shook his head.

“It’s a surprise.” he told me, smiling widely. I sighed, pouting a bit at him. He chuckled, his thumb rubbing circles on the back of my hand. “It won’t work.” He said, smiling at me. I rolled my eyes, opening the door to our building and walking through with Niall right behind me. We walked into the elevator and the door closed.

He leaned over and kissed me again. This time I smiled a bit, wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him closer. He pulled back, smiling. “I’ve been wanting to do that all day.” He told me, winking. I laughed nervously, looking away from him.

He kissed me again. My eyes closed, and I got lost in him. In his kiss and the way his lips moved on mine. The doors opened and I pulled away from him quickly. I looked out the door to see Liam leaning against the door.

“Home. Now.” He said to me, walking ahead. “Bye, Niall.” I said, kissing his cheek and scurrying down the hall behind Liam.

“You can’t just run off like that!” Liam roared. I flinched at his loud voice. “I didn’t run off, Li.” I said, playing with my fingers in my lap. I was seated on the couch and Liam was pacing the living room. Scolding me.

“Well, you left without telling me!” He said. I sighed, looking down again. “I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.” I told him.

“It damn better not. The last time I left you alone…” He said, trailing off. I looked up at him to see a tear left his eye. He wiped it away quickly. I stood up and hugged him.

“I wasn’t thinking,” I whispered. He just hugged me tighter to him. “But you can not think again.” He told me. “I don’t want to lose you, okay?”

I nodded, kissing his cheek. “Oh, and if Niall hurts you…” He said, trailing off once we let go of each other. I laughed, smiling. “He won’t.” I told him.

He pursed his lips. “I don’t trust him with my baby cousin.” He told me simply, kissing my cheek before going off to his room.
