Archer and Jack looked around at every ride and stand at the festival with excitement. Since Y/N had a load of. Money from Archer's parents, she could afford to take them without fear of going broke. Archer pointed to a stand with cotton candy, pulling on Y/N's hand.

"Can I get that!? Can I get that? Can I get that? Pleaseeeeee!" Archer begged, bouncing up and down. His parents probably didn't let him have things like cotton candy because of the sugar, and because of how unhealthy it was, but a little wouldn't hurt.

"Sure" Y/N replied as she went over to the stand. Archer cheered and dragged Jack over by his hand.

"You'll love this stuff" Archer said, looking at Jack.

"Cotton...candy...?" Jack stared at the cotton candy stand, watching as the worker spun the stick around the large metal bowl. It almost seemed magical to Jack as the cotton candy stick soon turned into a fluffy pink cloud.

Y/N paid the worker and took the two sticks of candy floss. Archer looked like he was already hyped on sugar, even though he hasn't really had much. Archer bit a piece off, showing Jack how to eat the delicious treat.

Jack looked at his spool of candy before opening his spike-toothed mouth. He stuck the whole thing in his mouth before closing his jaw, eating it all in one bite. Archer laughed in bewilderment as he took another bite of his cotton candy.

Jack thought the cotton candy was very enjoyable. He chewed it up, only for it to dissolve in his mouth. He looked at Y/N in surprise.

"Do you like it?" Y/N asked as they started to walk towards something else.

"Very good" Jack said.

Archer rolled his eyes, hating their "lovey-dovey" crap. Archer chewed off a piece of his cotton candy and followed them to them the next thing. Jack and Y/N were walking in front of him, and he couldn't help but think of how his parents didn't care half as much as they did. He walked up to walk between them, hoping it would be subtle.

They walked around the festival until they ended up at one of the carnival games. The classic game where there's a bunch of bottles stacked in a pyramid, and three baseballs to try to knock them down. Archer jumped up and down as he saw the game, hoping to give it a go.

"Can I play that one!? Pleaseeeee!?" Archer asked, pointing to the game. Y/N shrugged.

"Yeah" she said, pulling out a few dollars and giving it to the man at the stand. The man gave Archer three baseballs.

Archer looked between the pyramid of bottles and a large, stuffed panda that was a worthy prize. He wound up his arm before throwing the baseballs one by one. He only managed to knock down three of the twelve bottles. Archer frowned and looked at Y/N, seeming defeated by the rigged game.

Jack looked at the bottles as the man started to set them back up in its stack. The man running the stand seemed to know the game was a scam...He saw the disappointment on Archer's face and he tapped in Y/N's shoulder.

"Could I throw a ball?" Jack asked.

"Um, yeah, I guess" Y/N said, handing the man a few more dollars. The man gave Jack the three baseballs with a weary look, disturbed by his appearance. Jack didn't care.

He took a few steps back and stared at the bottles, thinking it through before absolutely chucking the baseball into the stack. The ball slammed into pyramid and each bottle came crashing down. Archer gasped in surprise, and the man seemed terrified at such a hit. Jack gently set the balls on the desk and pointed to the large, panda stuffed animal.

"I want that one" Jack stated. The man pulled the stuffie off the wall and shakely handed it over to Jack. Archer was riddled with jealousy until Jack held it out to Archer.

"Really!?" Archer smiled, hugging the panda bear that was nearly his size. Jack nodded at the sparkle in Archer's eyes.

"Yes," Jack said, looking around casually, as if him destroying the carnival game was normal. Y/N looked at Jack with a sort of "aww..." expression on her face. She didn't dare to say anything about it so she wouldn't ruin the sweet moment.
