End

Jack, Y/N, and Archer all sat at a picnic table eating all sorts of food. The sun was setting and the festival was getting packed with people.

"I think we should go to the Ferris wheel" Archer said as he stood up from the table.

"Alright, alright, just stop standing on the table" Y/N said.

Archer chuckled and hopped to the ground. They all threw away their trash and went to the large glowing Ferris wheel.

A young couple was in front of them. One with blonde hair and red eyes paid for the tickets and the young couple went on their seat on the ride. Archer was bouncing on the balls of his feet as Y/N paid for their seat.

Jack picked Archer up as they waited and he set him on his shoulders.

"Woah!" Archer said, holding onto Jack's hat.

As they got on the ride, Archer got in first, then Y/N, then Jack.

The Ferris wheel started to spin around and around slowly, giving them a good view of the park. Y/N gazed at the festival lights that lit up the night.

"I like this a lot" Jack said, staring off into the distance. Y/N chuckled.

"Have you never done this before?"

"I haven't" Jack responded softly. Y/N sighed with a smile and looked at Jack. His mask was lit up with the lights of the festival, making the black tar that drips down his face sparkle.

Y/N tilted her head before gently pecking his cheek.

"I bet you've never done that either?" Y/N said, holding onto the bar of the ride.

Archer grimaced at the sight, making a disgusted face.

Jack shook his head and rested it on top of Y/N's.

There was a brilliant light of fireworks that were set off. Every color from red to purple sparkled in the sky. They all watched in awe until the ride was finally over.

Later that evening, Archer had fallen asleep in the car. Jack carried Archer into the house and laid him on the couch with a blanket. Y/N smiled at the adorable sight and brought Jack into her room, figuring it wouldn't hurt to let him experience a nice bed too.

In the morning, Archer was the first one up. He was chowing down o  his second bowl of cereal while reading the box. Jack was resting nicely in Y/N's bed, and surprisingly, Y/N was up before him.

She got up and went to the kitchen.

"Make sure you get all your things; your mom his picking you up soon" Y/N reminded. Archer whined, slumping in his chair.

"But I don't wanna..." He said, stuffing his mouth with another bite of cereal. Y/N shrugged, getting herself some breakfast from the fridge.

A few minutes later, Jack realized that Y/N had left the bed. He walked down the hallway and into the kitchen.

"Why did you leave the bed?" Jack asked, looking at Y/N.

"I had to wake up sometime" she chuckled, taking a bite of her chosen breakfast.

Jack sat next to Archer.

"We should watch another movie" Jack suggested shyly. Archer nodded.

"Which one?" He asked.

After a back and forth of deciding, they chose a movie about some scary killer. The main character had scraggly black hair and a bloody smile. It probably wasn't the best choice for such a young child, but they both enjoyed the movie. Y/N even decided to watch it with them as well.

During the credits of the movie, the doorbell rang and Archer groaned angrily. He didn't want to leave yet. Y/N answered the door to see Archer's mother.

"Are you ready to go, sweetie?" His mother asked, clutching her bag. Archer sighed reluctantly and grabbed his suitcase full of things. Jack hurried and got Archer's panda that he had won the other night.

"Don't forget this" Jack said.

Archer took the bear.

"I would never" he smiled hugging the bear tightly.

He was half way down the sidewalk when he turned back. He ran up to Y/N and gave her a large hug.

"Can I stay another night?" He asked, looking up at her with big eyes.

Y/N looked at his mother.

"Would you care if he stayed another night?" Y/N asked, patting Archer's head. She shrugged.

"I won't mind, I have to do work at home anyway" she waved it off and put a few hundred dollars into her hands.

Archer grinned gleefully and hugged Jack as well as they went back inside together.

He finally felt like a part of a family.
