The next day seemed to come so quick and I woke up finding myself worried about Biggie. I also needed to check and make sure Joesph's men were there as promised. I still didn't trust him, but he had stood by his word so far. I check my phone before getting up to leave and see I've got a text from Jordan that said:Jordan- Don't wait up for
me today. I've got a meetin.
Love u.I read the message and instantly felt sad. It had been a while since Jordan and I had been apart, but I had business to get down to. I get up and go to the bathroom and shower, then I get out, brush my teeth and get dressed. After putting on something casual I walk into the garage and let it up, get in the car backing out to leave, letting the garage back down. As I get on the highway I call One Shot, it rings and Shot picks it up. "What up", One Shot said. "Hey I just wanted to let you know I'm heading to check on Biggie", I said. "Okay. Good. I'm still out in these streets. Keep me updated",she said. "I've gotchu. Let me know what you find out", I said.
"Yeah for sure", OneShot said. "Hey Shot", I said. "Yeah, what is it", One Shot said. "Be careful out there", I said. "Come on Taylor it's me", she said hanging up the phone. After what happened to Biggie I just wanted everyone safe, but that wouldn't happen until I found this rat in our cartel. I pull up to the hospital and park the car. I walk into the hospital and find Biggies room. In the hallway I see two of Joesph's men standing outside of Biggie hospital room door. Well I guess that means Joseph kept his word, but that didn't mean he could be trusted. I walk into the hospital room and see Biggie still hooked up to machines in the same condition. Sitting on the couch was this dark skinned woman with long curly hair, she had a skinny frame and a car seat sitting next to her. In the car seat was a baby boy that looked just like Biggie sound asleep. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to come and check on him. I could come back later", I said turning to walk out. "Wait. Are you the one that got these men to guard his room", she asked. "Yes. I'm Taylor", I said walking and sitting next to her.
"My name is Ronika. And this is Bryant Jr. Ms.Taylor", she started but I cut her off. "Just Taylor", I said with a little smile. "Taylor. Do you know who did this? I mean I know what he does for a living, but Bryant is a good man. He takes care of Jr and I. Now that he's in here we have no income. I love him and I want to help him. But how can I do that if I can't help myself or this baby", Ronika said. She was in tears and all I could do was rub her back to sooth her. "Let me give you my number and what ever you and Jr. need let me know", I said. "Thank you so much Taylor", Ronika said. She handed me her phone and I added my number into her contacts. I walk over to Biggies bedside and grab ahold of his hand saying a quick mental prayer. Grabbing the few things I had with me I hug Ronika goodbye and leave out of the hospital room.
As I get outside to the car I start it and then back out to leave. I wanted to head home but before I did I had to stop by Jazmines hair salon and check on her. I hadn't heard from her since the party and I needed to know how she was. I get in the highway and head in that direction. Finally arriving I see her outside on her cell phone. I get out of my car and walk over to her. "Bae it's been a long day please not today", Jazmine said into the phone. "Taylor just got here can we talk later", Jazmine said and then hung up. "Jaz I just wanted to check on you. How are you", I said. I needed to know if she was okay and I also wanted to know if she had heard anything. "I'm doing good. Beanies been trippin lately but other than that business is good. How are you? Better yet how is Biggie",she said. "He's still doing the same. Had you heard anything about who could've done this", I asked? "Taylor I can't say I have. I'm sorry. Is that why you came by", she asked? It was one of the reasons I came by and I wasn't sure if I should tell her that. "Well yes one of the reason. The other was to check on you", I said. "Taylor. You understand my family has been in the drug business for a long time. I hope you don't feel like you have to hide things from me. You can trust me", she said. I was taken a back just a little, but I was hoping that she meant well. "I understand Jaz. Well I'm going to go", I said hugging her and walking to my car.
