You Found Me

Chapter 24

"You excited to see your woman today" Sakeem asks as we patrol the preserve together. I smile "I am ecstatic to see her! I've missed her a lot!" He smiles "My village is excited to welcome her and her team of nurses. It's really nice of her to do a medical clinic for everyone who needs it!" Meghan really is one of the most giving people I've ever met. She works tirelessly to save children all day everyday, she is my hero and I adore her.

Today we follow the herd with Dana and she documents the behaviors and eating habits of the herd. It really is cool to watch her work and to see the sketches she does of them as she observes them. "You're really talented" I say admiring her current sketch. She looks up at me "Thank you. It's just something I enjoy doing while I'm observing the animals." They truly are unique animals to observe. They are so loving and caring to one another. The matriarch leads her herd to food and they all share willingly and never guard food from one another. The dynamic of family amongst elephants is beautiful all on its own.

Soon Karla drives me to the airport to pick up Meghan and her team. My heart is racing as we enter the airport because I am so excited to see my girl. We arrive to the gate and I wait anxiously to see the gorgeous face I've been dying to see the past two weeks. Twenty agonizing minutes later I see my beautiful girlfriend exit the gateway. She makes eye contact with me and literally runs into my arms. I hold her close and hug her as tight as I can. "I can't believe you are here" I say breaking our hug. She pulls me in quickly for a kiss and I happily reciprocate. I break the kiss somewhat quickly because LGBT community is mostly frowned upon here.

"Let's get your equipment and get it loaded up in the truck" I say walking to baggage claim with her. I take this time to introduce Karla and Meghan and both seen indifferent about meeting one another and it felt awkward for whatever reason. We lost to the equipment and I sit in the back with Meghan while Karla drives us and the two nurses back to the station. Once we get there I set Meghan up in my room and the nurses in the spare room across the hall from me. "Shower is on a six minute timer so do your business and get out" I explain to them.

Once we unpack them I head downstairs to make dinner since it's my turn to cook tonight. I decide to make tostones with a beef and rice dish I purchased from the market earlier this week. As I'm trying the plantains Karla comes up and stands pretty close to me "Smells delicious Korie. Thank you for cooking for us" she says running a finger down my arm. I have her a sideways look because I'm confused on why she's acting so fucking weird! She smirks at someone behind me and I turn to see Meghan standing there glaring at her.

I grab Meghan's hand and pull her in for a kiss "God damn...I've missed these lips." She smiles devilishly "My entire body has missed you." I blush a deep shade of red and try to focus on finishing dinner. Meghan sets the table for everyone while I finish putting dinner on the table. Soon our entire team comes together to eat and before we start eating I speak up "Thank you all for hosting us and bringing us into your family here. I've been having an amazing time here and I can't wait for Meghan and her team to meet the villagers tomorrow for day one of the medical clinic. I'm honored to be here with you all."

Karla smiles "This food is delicious! Maybe drop the zookeeper gig and become a chef. But seriously I appreciate all the help you've given is this far. You are truly an amazing person Korie!" I smiled and tell Meghan that Sakeem is my new singing bestie and told her off the folklore songs I've learned from him. "You guys are tight knit I can tell. But thank you for being open to hating us stay with you. We appreciate you all very much" Meghan says to the ranger team. They all smile and welcome Meghan, Katie, and Maya.

Soon we go to bed and I can say I'm ecstatic to sleep with my girl tonight! As soon as I close the door Meghan is on me and I don't hold back. I pull her close to me a little roughly because damn have I missed being able to touch her! "Oohh...babe you can't grab me like that and expect me to be quiet" Meghan whispers in my ear and then kisses it. I chuckle and walk backwards to the bed and sit on it once the back of my legs hit it. I pull her onto my lap so that she's straddling me and I just hug her tightly. She kisses the top of my head and hugs me in return and I smile. "It's only been two weeks...but Meghan I have missed you so much. How have you been" I ask her.

She exhales "I have had a terrible week if I'm being honest. But we don't need to talk right now if you would rather be doing something else." I lay her down with me "Meghan...what happened? You should've told me. I want to always be there for you." She cuddles into me and begins to cry and I feel my heart shatter! What in the hell happened this week? I hold her close and rub her back gently until she's ready to talk. After a few minutes she lifts her head to look at me as we lay next to one another "So...Charlotte tried to make a move on me and I had to report her to the board. She might lose her job over it. Then Cali got Salmonella from the fish skin treatment we've been doing for her burns."

I can feel my blood boil because I had suspicion Charlotte had a thing for Meghan since their dinner "date". I lean forward and kiss her gently "I'm sorry to hear about Cali. I hope she gets better soon. She's a tough kid! As for Charlotte I have never cared for her and I'm sorry she put you in an awkward position. Did she force herself on you like physically?" Meghan shakes her head "No not physically...she just tried to force me to dinner with her during work hours. She said I shouldn't be dating you and a bunch of crazy shit. It infuriated me because I will not tolerate anything taking poorly of you Korie. I love you too much. You are my world baby."

My stomach erupts in butterflies and I wipe the tears from her cheeks and cup her face "I'm sorry that happened my love. I admit at times I've not felt good enough for you...but that's my own insecurity that I've gotten help with. Thank you for defending my honor and I need you to know that I'm absolutely head over heels for you Meghan. I want you forever babe and can totally see myself marrying you one day." Another tear falls from Meghan's eyes and she climbs on top of me and kisses me deeply "Korie I would be honored to be your wife one day. Now enough sappy talk...I need you to show me how much you've missed me baby."

I take the subtle hint and begin kissing her down her neck and chest. The sports bra she has on is giving me a clear view of how turned on her is right now. I slowly run my hands over her boobs feeling her nipples through the fabric and she arches her back in response. Damn when she does that I could just lose it. I slowly kiss my way down to her core and run my tongue over the fabric of her underwear. I can tell she's trying to best to be quiet but it's really struggling with it. She grins widely "Why didn't you say so?" I roll my eyes and try to suppress a moan once her tongue touches my center "Ah fuck" I whisper. It probably only takes a minute before I reach my orgasm and I'm instantly exhausted from it. I roll over and wrap Meghan up in my arms "I love you. Goodnight."
