O'DELL

It was Alicia's birthday and we decided to throw a lil get together in my backyard.

Maybe 20 people showed up and the party was almost over after three hours.

Everybody was startin' to leave.

"I've really had a good time, O'Dell, thank you so much for all the gifts and everything you've done. I love you so much." Alicia hugged me as she smiled.

"Of course, you know I always got you baby." I replied, hugging her back tightly.

"Man, where is this girl at?" Alicia asked as she looked around.

"Oh you talkin' bout yo friend?" I asked.

"Yesss, she was supposed to be here an hour ago. I don't know maybe she got stuck in traffic." Alicia said as she checked her phone.

"Maybe." I replied.

Suddenly, a car began to pull up in my driveway and Alicia went running towards the front of my house.

She came back arm and arm with somebody, it was far away so I couldn't really make out the faces but they did look familiar.

As she got closer, my jaw began to drop when I realized it was Elaina who was standing beside Alicia.

So the entire time, Alicia was friends with Elaina.

Had they known about each other?

The minute Elaina laid eyes on me she looked as if she'd just seen a ghost.

That's when I knew they ain't kno about each other at all.

"Really O'Dell?? You really been doing this the entire time?" Elaina asked as she began to walk towards me.

"What's going on?" Alicia asked as she looked genuinely confused.

Shit... I fucked up.

"Man go in the house Alicia." I demanded.

"No, tell me what the fuck is going on right now!" Alicia demanded.

"I'll gladly tell you what's going on." Elaina smirked.

"Man don't do this shit, not right here." I replied nervously.

"No, how about you tell her O'Dell? Tell her how we had sex the other day and you took my virginity and told me you wanted to make things official with me. You didn't even tell me you had a fucking girl already." Elaina explained.

"Are you fucking serious O'Dell? You're really going to do this to me? After everything I've fucking done for you? I was gonna tell you about the apartment I got for us but I guess none of that fucking matters now does it?" Alicia said as she began to cry and walked into the house leaving me and Elaina.

"You just couldn't keep yo fuckin' mouth shut, could you?" I asked as I walked up on Elaina.

"What? That's all you're going to say O'Dell? Did my feelings ever fucking matter to you in the first place? I'm the fucking victim. Not you! You played in my fucking face and took my virginity!" Elaina began to burst out in tears.

Great, now both of em crying.

I really felt bad seeing them both like this because I genuinely loved both of them and I never meant to hurt them in the first place. Everything was just a big misunderstanding.

"Man, look I'm sorry. I fucked up. I never meant to hurt none of y'all. I been tryna end shit with Alicia for I don't kno how long." I explained.

Elaina began to walk away towards her car.
