Day 4 of Miami Trip

"So how yall feel about Miami so far?" Nasir asked.

Briel had asked me if I wanted to go out today and I of course said yes because i couldn't take another moment of staying in that hotel with Zyaire.

It was just weird and awkward between us.

Everytime I thought about what we did, the more guilty I felt.

I just needed space.

It took me a lot to say yes, because even though I didn't wanna be around Zyaire, I didn't really wanna be around her as much either because I knew what a terrible friend I had been to her.

We only had three more days of this trip and I was struggling to hold myself together.

We were walking through a random mall.

So far, Nasir seemed pretty cool and we got along just fine

"It's been fine so far... they got sum nice ass beaches." Briel replied.

"It's- okay." I replied looking down.

"What's wrong Morg?" Briel asked as she looked at me with a concerned look on her face.

I couldn't tell her.

As bad as I wanted to, I couldn't.

I didn't wanna hurt her, and I didn't wanna upset Zyaire either.

"Nothing, just stumbled on my words." I replied.

"You sure?" Briel asked.

"She's fine... let that girl be." Nasir replied.

Thank God for him, or else Briel wouldn't have dropped it.

I think if Briel kept talking and asking questions, I might have just slipped up and told on myself.

"I'm just checking on my friendd." Briel smiled putting her arm around me.

"Y'all hungry?" Nasir asked.

Me and Briel both nodded.

We ended up leaving the mall, and going to McDonald's where we sat inside.

That was the closest fast food place where we were, and Briel didn't feel like waiting.

"I meant to ask you something earlier." Briel spoke which made me look up at her.

"What is it?" I asked feeling a bit nervous about what she might ask me.

"Do you feel like Zyaire has been acting weird towards you? Or is it just me?" Briel asked.

"Um-I- I don't really pay that much attention all the time to what he does, but I do think it's kind of strange when he gets angry out of no where I guess." I replied not knowing what to say.

"Yea, that's what I was thinking... like last time when the guy from the beach came over to our table and he just got so angry.. that was so weird." Briel shook her head.
