"Hey, we're having a girl's night in Britt and Pat's room. You should come and bring the girls."
"Sounds like fun."
Kylie smiled down at her phone as she hit send. It was the last night on the boat, and it would most likely be the last night that she would see Taylor and Selena for a very long time. It pained her to see her friends walk away from her again, but she was happy to know that they at least had a way to contact them now.
Kylie got up from the table where she was sitting with her in-laws, Jason, and the girls. "C'mon, girls. We have somewhere to go," Kylie said to her daughters, picking Bennett up from the high chair as the girls climbed down from the chairs they had been sitting in.
"Where are you going?" Jason asked.
"Taylor invited me and the girls to one of their rooms to hang out for a bit," Kylie said, the grin still plastered across her face.
"You're just going to ditch your family for these people?" Donna asked, raising an eyebrow. Kylie said nothing; she just rolled her eyes, gathered the girls, and started to walk away.
"I don't understand why she is so fond of Travis and his little gang." Kylie heard Ed say from behind her. Kylie and the girls walked through the hallways of the ship until they reached the suite door where Taylor said they would be hanging out for the evening. Kylie knocked on the door and they waited. Seconds pasted before the door was opened by Sterling.
Sterling stood at the door, staring at Kylie. She gave her the once-over, looking up and down at her. "Hello," Kylie said, readjusting Bennett on her hip.
"Ster, let her in," Selena told the 10-year-old. Sterling rolled her eyes and stepped aside, allowing Kylie to enter the room. "Don't mind, Ster; she's protective like her Uncle Trav," Selena said with a little laugh.
"I understand," Kylie said, walking into the room. The room was just as large as Taylor and Travis' room, which didn't surprise Kylie one bit. She put Bennett down, and the little one started roaming the room while Wyatt and Elliotte went straight to where the other kids had been playing.
"Now that all of you girls are safe here, I guess we can officially go," Chris announced, getting up from where he was sitting on the couch.
"No. I don't want to," Travis said, holding Taylor closer and burying his face into her neck.
"Here we go." Patrick started. Kylie just stood back, watching everything unfold. She glanced over at Selena, trying to get clarification on what was happening before her.
"They're just lovey dovey, and we give them shit for it," Selena confirmed.
"C'mon, Trav," Austin said, slowly letting go of the hold he had on Sydney's waist. Observing Travis and Taylor over the years made Austin more like Travis, which was different from what he had seen growing up with his mother and father. Austin placed a kiss on Sydney's forehead as he pulled away from her. Chris and Patrick were already standing near the door, waiting for the last two members of their crew to join them.
Taylor stroked the hairs on the side of Travis's face, placing soft kisses on his lips as his hand ran up and down her thigh. "Have fun with the guys."
"I'd rather have fun with you," Travis replied, staring into her eyes. He was always amazed how, after all this time, he still got absolutely lost in her eyes. Everything about this woman of his amazed him. He felt as if he fell increasingly in love with her as the days passed.
