[ FOUR MONTHS LATER ]

"Let's go, girls, time to get up," Jason said to both Wyatt and Elliotte, who both decided they wanted to spend the night in bed with their parents instead of in their beds in Koa and Khi's rooms. It was nearing 9:30 AM, and they had to be downstairs in about 30 minutes so that Selena could start their schooling. Jason could already hear Koa, Khi, Taylor, and Travis moving around the house while Wyatt and Elliotte were still sleeping. The girls had a long night, fighting their sleep, so Jason figured they could sleep a little bit longer.

"I don't want to get up," Wyatt whined. It had been four months since they started "Selena's Elementary School," and Jason had to admit that her speech was a lot better than it was when she was going to traditional school. He wouldn't say her lisp was non-existent, but it was obvious that it wasn't as heavy as it was before.

"I know, doll. But you've got to get up, get dressed, and get some breakfast before you go do your schooling for the morning." Jason also enjoyed that their school day wasn't long and grueling. Selena typically started their school day at about 10 AM, playing off of when they all felt the kids would be awake for the day naturally. They weren't in a rush usually. Normally, the girls would have been up for at least an hour by now.

"Okay," Wyatt whined, finally sitting up.

"Ellie," Jason said, shaking his middle daughter. "Wake up, girly," Jason sang as Wyatt climbed out of bed and walked out of the room.

"Noooo," Elliotte whined, rolling over to face away from her father. "I don't want to!" Elliotte cried. She was by far the more stubborn of the kids.

"But you have to, girly," Jason told her.

"No!" Elliotte yelled.

"I'll give you extra ice cream tonight if you get up now and go downstairs for schooling," Jason told the little one. Elliotte laid there for a moment, the room completely silent. After a couple of minutes, Elliotte sat up and looked at her father with a pout on her face and her arms across her chest.

"I know, it's so hard to wake up sometimes," Jason told her. Elliotte reached up for him, and Jason picked her up without thought. He walked out of the room and carried her into the kitchen, where Wyatt was already sitting at the table eating her breakfast. "What do you want to eat girly?" He asked Elliotte.

"Yogurt," Elliotte told him, not moving her head from where it rested on his shoulder.

"What else?" Jason asked her, walking over to the fridge to grab the yogurt.

"Strawberries and blueberries," Elliotte replied. Jason nodded and grabbed the strawberries and blueberries. He made his way around the kitchen, Elliotte still in his arms, getting the things he needed to prepare her Yogurt bowl. In a bowl, he put in a couple of spoons of yogurt and topped it with strawberries and blueberries. He sat Elliotte down at the table and gave her her bowl of yogurt.

"Morning," Taylor said, waddling into the kitchen. She was now nine months pregnant, and baby girl was due any day now. Jason was surprised she was still getting around the way she was, or rather, Travis was letting her get around the way she was. Whenever Travis saw her moving around the house, he would send her to sit or lie down somewhere, not wanting her to overwork herself or the baby.

"Morning, Tay. No contractions yet?" Jason asked, placing the containers of yogurt, strawberries, and blueberries back into the fridge.

"I thought I had one or two last night, but it went away, so I'm going with no. Nothing else." Taylor replied. "I guess she wants to live in there forever," Taylor said with a little laugh.
