Harry's POV
When I got down to the ward, the boys were waiting for me and Liam was making Goldie wave, which made me smile. They got me set up and connected me up to more machines before the boys got comfy around me.
"Morning Harry," Louis said as he brushed his hand through my hair.
"Morning Louis. That was, fun."
"We thought it would be," Liam said before Louis kissed me on the forehead.
"You're not in intensive care anymore, and you have no idea how happy I am about that."
"How long was I... there for?" I asked and the boys looked at each other.
"Over a month," Niall told me and I stared at him. A month? A whole month?
"Harry? What's wrong?"
"Hmn?" I asked before I looked at Louis.
"Was that a seizure or are you ok?"
"I'm ok. Niall... said that it's been a month."
"It has. It's the 3rd of February today."
"What?" I asked as I felt tears coming to my eyes and Louis's gaze softened.
"Could you give us a minute guys?" He asked and Niall and Liam nodded.
"Of course," Liam said before they got up and Niall pulled the curtain around us before I heard him leave.
"What happened, to me?" I asked Louis and he kissed my hand that was in his grip.
"What can you remember?"
"I remember... visiting my cousins."
"Yeah, that was on New Year's Eve."
"Then... I went to come home and... and I called you?"
"You did. You told me that you were on your way back and that you would see me in under an hour."
"Then..." I said as tears starting rolling down my face. "I can't... remember."
"It's ok," Louis said before he hugged me and I cried into his shoulder. "It's alright Harry. It's ok, shhhhh," He shushed me and I calmed down. "You were involved in a car crash," He said before he let go of me and he wiped my tears away. "A policeman came to our house and told me what'd happened. I came straight to the hospital to see you."
"Was I... asleep?"
"Yeah. You were asleep."
"I'm sorry."
"No. Don't be sorry Harry," Louis said as I cried more. He looked sadly and lovingly at me before he pulled me into another hug. "None of this is your fault. None of it. We've all been super worried about you, and we've all been waiting for you to wake up."
"But... I..." I said before my mind went blank. "Where...? I... hmn...?" I asked and someone let go of me. They handed me a soft bear and I buried my head into it.

"...coma," I said as I remembered what we had been talking about.
"Harry?" Louis asked as I felt him touch my arm.
"Coma... that's what they call... things like me."
"You're not a thing Harry," Liam said and I lifted my head up from the bear to look at him.
"But... I'm here. In hospital."
"Yeah. But you're still Harry."
"My Harry," Louis corrected Liam.
"I need... looking after. Don't I?"
"You do, but it's ok. That's why we're here."
"What happened? ... Just then?"
"You got confused. You hit your head in the crash and sometimes you forget what's going on."
"Oh," I said and Louis kissed my forehead.
"I'm looking after you, so you don't need to worry. I love you."
"I love... you too."
"I know," Louis said before Niall took a picture of me.
"Ni?"
"You're so cute when you're holding Goldie like that Harry."
"Am I?" I asked as I squeezed Goldie tighter.
"Yeah. You're really adorable," Louis said and I giggled before I buried my head into Goldie.

"Hello boys. How's Harry settling in down here?" A new voice asked.
"He's doing really well. He's had a confused episode, but other than that, he's doing really well," Louis said and I poked my eyes above Goldie's head to see what was going on. Liam ruffled my hair as my doctor came over to me.
"Hello Harry. How are you and your bear holding up?"
"Goldie. And yeah, good," I said before Louis took my hand.
"I'm glad. Is this, Goldie, the bear that Niall got for you?"
"Yeah. It is."
"Great. Do you know why you're in hospital?"
"Car crash. I was in a..."
"We've just been talking about it," Louis finished for me.
"Ok, good. So, as I explained before Harry, your arm and ankle are broken but they will heal fine on their own. Your head injury isn't major, but due to it's complexity you might continue to have some seizures until your brain fully heals."
"Oh, ok."
"What type of seizures is Harry likely to have?"
"I'm not expecting any grand mal seizures, but absent seizures might be common for him in the next few weeks."
"Ok," Louis said before he squeezed my hand.
"The seizures shouldn't happen very often, and you should keep taking your medication as normal Harry."
"Ok."
"I'm also going to keep you in hospital for a few more days as I want to make sure that your head injury is stable enough for you to be sent home."
"Alright," I said before I hugged Goldie and my doctor's gaze softened.
"For now Harry, you need to rest and the nurses will keep an eye on you over the next few days."
"Thank you."
"It's my pleasure," My doctor said before he left.
