Several GUN soldiers broke into a lab, where scientists were running tests; one of the subjects being a large green lizard. The GUN soldiers pointed their weapons at the scientists, who raise their hands.
"Stop them! We can't let them get away!" a soldier said and another saw Maria near a control panel.
"Stop!" the soldier said but Maria took off running.
He pursued Maria, who fled through an automatic door.
Soon Shadow was in an escape pod and Maria ran up to a control panel.
"Listen, Shadow. I want you to promise me... please." Maria said.
"No, wait!" Shadow said and looked at Sonic and Silver.
"Go!" Sonic said.
"We'll find you!" Silver said and Soldiers started banging on the door.
"Whatever happens, remember I'll always be your friend, Shadow, Sonic, Silver. We always talked about going to visit the planet one day. But it looks like you'll have to go there without me. Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog." Maria said and the soldier caught up, but saw several life forms floating in tubes.
"It's the creatures!" he said and noticed Maria about to pull a lever. "She's setting them free!" he said and shot the control panel opening the door, before heading in. "Freeze!" he said and pointed his gun at Maria. "Take your hand off that lever." he said but she grasped the lever with both hands. "I'm not fooling around here!" he said but she pulled a switch and immediately collapsed as the escape pod was jettisoned into space.
Sonic and Silver watched and were hit.
A few hours later they were in a different room and saw soldiers looking at them.
Then Sonic looked at Silver and Silver looked at her back then saw Commander.
"So my son was right. There really are hedgehogs on the ARK." he said and they glared at him.
"What do you want? We haven't done anything." Sonic said.
"To make you a little deal."
"We're listening." Silver said slowly.
"We'll let the other one get away if one of you works for us and the other put to sleep."
"WHAT?!" Sonic and Silver said.
"You heard me. That or you both get put to sleep and we find the last one."
Sonic and Silver looked at each other and knew this was their best option.
"Fine." Sonic said. "I'm the strongest so I'll work for you." she said and Commander smirked.
"Deal." he said and Silver looked at Sonic.
"Be careful Sonic." Silver said.
"I'll be fine. They made me the strongest one so I'll be fine." Sonic said and he nodded.
Then he was taken away and Sonic was given a jacket, communicator and a gun.
"Let's get to work." Commander said, let her out and started training her.
'This might be my chance to stop the deal they made when he made us.' Sonic thought and about when they were created.
Abraham and Maria were playing when they approached a door to Gerald's lab, where Gerald and Black Doom were talking near their pods.
Abraham watched their pods rising up and inside, they opened their eyes leaving Abraham horrified.
'If he works here then his son probably will to. He'll probably take it out on me.' she thought. 'But I'll be ready.'
