There's three of them?

Flood Fight

Danny, Frances, and Helen were at school playing basketball.

"No way! Two points!" students said.

The basketball landed through the net. Nearby, Mr. Stewart was secretly contacting his superiors.

"This is Chalkboard Charlie calling Homeroom. Chris Thorndyke is still absent from school." he said when the basketball stopped rolling when it collided with his right leg.

"Get the ball, Frances." Danny said.

"Mr. Stewart? Can you throw me the ball, please?" Frances asked and he picked up the ball.

"Hey, Mr. Stewart! Why don't you come and play?" Danny asked.

"Uh... me?" Mr. Steward said.

"Yeah, it'll be fun!" Frances said.

"All right." he said then took the ball and dribbled it toward the net.

Then he dunk the ball through the net.

"Right in the net! That was an awesome shot, Mr. Stewart!" Danny said.

"Well, I was an alternate in the practice squad back in college..." he said and Helen giggled. "Did I... say something funny, Helen?"

"I was just thinking that I'm happy we got you as our teacher." Helen said.

"Really?"

"We wasn't sure about you at first but you're cool." Danny said.

"Thanks, Danny."

Meanwhile Chris was at Tails workshop searching for him.

"I thought Tails and Shadow would be here in the workshop. I wonder where they are. Maybe they took the X-Tornado out and I guess I just missed them. I can't wait to show them what I got! Shadow's gonna be really proud of me when he sees that I found a Chaos Emerald!" Chris said.

At Mystic Ruins Sonic, Shadow and Tails were walking together when the saw Knuckles with his back to them.

"It's Knuckles." Tails said as Knuckles smirked standing over an unconscious Eggman.

"Eggman." Shadow said.

"Hm." Knuckles said as they appeared.

"What'd you do to him?"

"Who cares?" Sonic said.

"Nothing. I found him this way." Knuckles said and Tails poked Eggman with a stick to see if he was alive, and was surprised when he sat up.

"Whaah! He's alive!" Tails said.

"Of course I am." Eggman said.

"What happened?" Shadow asked.

"Chaos turned against me."

"How come?"

"Because... it wants to use the power of the Chaos Emeralds all for itself." Eggman said and Knuckles reached for Eggman's throat.

"Tell us where Chaos is or else!" Knuckles said.

"Take it easy, Knuckles!" Sonic said.

"How dare you threaten me! I'd love to teach you a lesson, but unfortunately I have to fly!" Eggman said and mysteriously rose into the air.

"He's getting away." Tails said as Eggman was being airlifted by a hot-air balloon manned by Bocoe and Decoe.

"Okay, start reeling him up." Decoe said.

"The winch is jammed!" Bocoe said.

"We can pull him up ourselves."

"No way. All that weight will burn out our motors."
