Lexi was flying when they felt a sharp pain in their stomachs "Joshie, it hurts," they said, "what hurts?" he asked, "my stomach, can we drop down for a minute?" they asked, "of course," he said.

They flew down, lying on the ground as Joshie kissed next to them "your mine, your mine, Lexi Dragonair, now and forever, you can't escape" they heard in their head, "get out of my head, Alex, please, I want to be free, please", they begged. "come home my lamb," he said, "I'll give you whatever you want just let me go please" they begged, "poor baby thinks they can get away," he said, "I'll do anything I'll kill my dragon just let me be free" they said, "you'd kill your dragon for me" he asked, "I'd do anything to get away from you" they said.

They brought out their long, sharp claws "Lexi, what are you doing?" he asked.

They didn't listen as they brought their claws to their neck, digging deep into it, seeing darkness and blood, hearing their name being yelled they only wanted to stop the madness and Alex's pain as he laughed in their head.

The next moment, they woke up in a white room, dressed in all white "Hello, Lexi Dragonair," someone said.

They looked up and saw a man in all white he had black hair, a beard, tan skiing, and a white robe. "Who, are you? And where am I?" They asked "why, you're in heaven, my dear, welcome" he said, "so I'm dead," they asked, "yes but not yet I want you to live, kid" he said, "but Alex," they said. "don't worry I had someone take care of him don't your worry no one will harm you I promise," he said, "and Joshie is he safe and back to normal," they asked, "yes he is but Lexi you won't be a dragon or a fae this new life you are just a human," he asked, "why," they asked, "because it is the cost for living no magic no creatures again just you a normal human," he said. "okay thank you, god," they said, "your welcome Lexi now won't catch you up here again okay," he said, "okay sir" they said.

They returned to earth in the human body they were given when they weren't fae or dragon with long brown hair, green eyes, dragon necklace with the white shirt and red checkered plaid shirt and black jean shorts with their cream skin "Lexi!" He screamed. "It's okay, I'm okay, I'm back" They said, "But what happened to you? One minute, you were laying here on the floor; the next, you clawed out your neck," he said, "I know I'm sorry" they said.

They got up "let's go find a new home I'm no longer a mythical being; I'm now just a human child you may be older than me, but don't treat me like a baby," they said, "of course, I would never do that to you, princess,"  he said.

Lexi smiled "let's go find a new home, Joshie," they said, "but what about your mom and the dragon queen?" he asked, "I want you, Joshie wherever we go, it's home no one knows that I'm alive again beside you," they said.

Lexi was walking with Joshie when a man grabbed them "what a wonderful beauty you are" he said, "let go of my sister" he said, "let go creep" they said.

He tried to kiss them as Joshie sliced his neck "no one touches Lexi, asshole" he said, "thank you, brother" you said, "no problem, Lexi" he said.

They walked with Joshie to a farmhouse with no one around for miles "here we go, sis. I'll find some wood to make us a fire you look around for any food," he said, "okay, Joshie," you said.

They looked around, noticing a few cans of beans and a load of bread with jam "brother, I found some food," they said, "great Lexi, I found some wood," he said, "yay," they said.

Joshie started a fire as he opened a can of beans with his claws, cooking them over the fire while Lexi made two sandwiches, cuddling next to him, smiling "big brother, I love you," they whispered.

Lexi fell asleep next to Joshie and snuggled up close to him "Lexi, wake up, Lexi," someone said.

Lexi opened their eyes and saw her dragon, her dead dragon "I'm here in your heart, Lexi" she said, "but I'm just a human now. I'm no one special, and that's fine with me" they said. "if you ever need me, my child just call my name I'm always around my princess Dragonair a Dragonair never loses its dragon only hibernates or is reborn when we die Lexi your special remember that but not just in power but also in kindness," she said, "can I ride on you one last time," you asked, "of course Lexi but I'm here just call," she said, "I love you amber," they said.

Lexi laughed, flying on their dragon for the last time they didn't need a dragon or magic as long as Joshie could protect them and they could live a happy life.

Somewhere close
"I smell Dragonair blood," someone said, "then go after it and fetch it," he said.
