Patricks POV

I woke up the next morning to sunlight gleaming through the window. I squinted at the light and attempted to get up. I then utterly failed and just lied down and looked at the ceiling. I was still unused to the feeling of a heavy metal band around my finger. I looked around the room and noticed it was 12:45 and Pete was at work. I sighed at the thought. I really wished he was here. I got up finally and noticed that there was a piece of paper on his pillow.

Patrick was printed on the front and I grabbed it. I opened it.

Patty,

I know im going to be gone all day so I took the liberty of occupying you. I made this last night when you were sleeping. Remember when we did that treasure hunt? Well here is another one. Hope you enjoy :)

Love, Pete

Riddle:

All shining and silver

With the most beautiful face

You look into me

and find this place

xoxo

I thought about this. What the hell? These were definitely harder than I expected. I decided just to google it because google has all the answers right. I looked it up and found that it was a mirror. That made sense. I pulled on a t-shirt and black skinny jeans and ran a hand through my hair. I walked into the bathroom and sure enough there was another note taped to it.

Patty,

Hey you found number two. Did you google the answer? I had a feeling you would. You see, I made these harder so you would take more time to do then so you wouldn't be as lonely.

Love, Pete

Riddle:

Stiff is my spine

and my body is pale

But im always ready to tell a tale

xoxo

Damnit. Not another hard one. I pulled out my phone and typed it in. A book. I ran downstairs, we only had maybe four books. And they were all kept on the small bookshelf in the living room. I flipped through the first one. Nothing. The second, nothing. And then the small piece of paper fell out of the third. I flipped it open.

Patty,

I know you are googling these. That's okay though. I still love you even though you are a cheater.

Love, Pete

Riddle:

What does a vampire become at a baseball game?

xoxo

What the hell? How am I supposed to know this stuff. Once again I googled it. A bat. A bat? Oh yeah, the bat that I almost hit Pete with. I ran upstairs and dug under the bed in search for it. I felt the wood and grabbed it out from under. There was another note taped to it. I unfolded it.

Patty,

You made it so far babe!

Love, Pete

Riddle:

When you're feeling less than fresh

there's just one place to go

To wash and get all squeaky clean

 and scrub between each toe.

xoxo

See now this was easier. The shower. Didn't need to google that one HA! I ran back into the bathroom. But there was no note in the tub. I was so confused. Did I get it wrong. And then I remembered there was a shower in the bathroom downstairs. I opened the shower curtain and on the spout was another.

Patty,

I bet you went to the shower upstairs. Im so sneaky hehe c:

Love, Pete

Riddle:

Communicate with family,

 porn, tumblr, and play games.

Since this invention swept the globe,

our lives have really changed.

xoxo

What the hell. Damnit im really bad at this. Once again I had to look it up. A computer. I ran into the living room where my laptop lay. There was the paper sticking slightly out. I slid it out and read it.

Patty,

You know that I really really really really really really love you right?

Love, Pete

Riddle:

When couples are well-organized

they park the car in here.

But otherwise it's full of band instruments

and not one inch is clear.

xoxo

Where do we keep our instruments? Oh yeah, the garage. I opened it and hanging from the ceiling was a string with a piece of paper and a random key hanging on it. I grabbed them.

Patty,

Ive done something hehe. I was thinking that this one room house was a little to small. So, your fiancé decided to buy a new house. I know you will like it. Heres the key. The address is on the deed attached to this paper as well.

Love, Pete

xoxo

Oh my god. He bought a fucking HOUSE! I couldn't believe this. And since when did one room was too small. But then again if we were going to start a family we would have to get a bigger house. I loved this man. And he bought me a house. I wasn't sure how we got the money for this, but I didn't care. I just wanted to get to the house. I grabbed my keys and phone and jumped into the car.
