Reich glared into the fridge, subconsciously rubbing a hand over his stomach. It's not like he was growing or anything, he just couldn't help doing it.

The German sighed, slamming the fridge door shut he glared into the living room. He could see Soviet and AH chatting away as they worked on a puzzle.

Why was there nothing good to eat in this house?

Grumbling, the German stormed into the living room with his arms crossed, looking very displeased.

Soviet smirked as the Reich sat down next to him. "Something wrong dear?"

"There's no food in this house." He sighed and looked at the puzzle. AH raised an eyebrow at him.

"I may be a little blind now, but even I can see that there's food in there..." He paused before speaking again, "Are you perhaps craving something?"

The German looked up at his mother, "That is completely unrelated." He huffed and crossed his arms.

Austria-Hungary and Soviet both glanced at each other.

"Sure dear, maybe you can help me put together the next grocery list." AH spoke with a soft voice, looking back down to his puzzle.

"I think I'll have to." Reich grumbled and leaned back into the couch, Soviet watching him quietly as he did so.

It was all silent for a moment, until Reich opened his eyes, feeling Soviet staring at him.

"Do you mind?" Reich snapped his head towards the Russian, looking more pissed off than normal.

Soviet raised an eyebrow, looking confused, "I'm just sitting here."

"Then maybe don't? You're taking up the whole damn couch." Reich rolled his eyes, looking pissed off.

Soviet paused silently, blinking at him for a moment.

"Stop staring at me." Reich snapped at him, making the Russian jump back a bit once more.

Austria-Hungary glanced between the two with a confused look before he spoke, "Maybe we should order out tonight? I don't mind getting us all something?" He smiled warmly for a moment, trying to break up the tension.

"Where?" Reich looked at him quickly, "I need a menu first." He spoke sternly for a moment before he began ranting on to AH about something. The older country just smiled at him.

Austria-Hungary nearly giggled seeing Soviet's still confused expression. The man looked like he was at a loss for words.

They ended up ordering dinner early because of the pesky German.

Reich was busy digging into his Chinese take out. Eating rice like he had never had it before. Soviet was watching him carefully, not wanting to get snapped at again, but also interested in seeing how much the German's appetite seemed to be growing.

Like he had three boxes of crap and was still trying to steal some of Soviet's teriyaki chicken. But the Russian would only lose a few times to the German's peckish chop-sticks.

Reich was being persistent and snappy, but seemed to be much happier after he got to eat.

It was just him and Soviet at the dinner table at the moment, AH had gone to bed early after eating. Saying something about some book he was reading before slowly walking off to bed.

The German was still finishing his meal, eating slower now as the sun had fallen. Leaving him in a comfortable dining room, with a Russian that made it uncomfortable. But the Reich would not let Soviet ruin his night.
