A nervous country was walking around skittishly. Freaked the hell out of his mind as he called and called and called his son's phone but never got an answer. He didn't even need to speak to the police for five minutes before he was suddenly demanded for his address.

He felt so stupid. So dumb and foolish to have let everything slip by like this- and now his son could be dead or worse.. And he couldn't help feeling like it was all his fault- that he had not paid attention or searched up any names- looked at any records.

After hearing who Soviet really was, he just felt so sick. So awful to realize what Germany was the prodigy of. The events that had to have been taken for him to get here. To think that even though Reich had felt comfortable enough to come back to him for a place to stay- he didn't feel safe enough to talk to his mother about what horrible events had happened to him.

He was a failed parent- a horrible person. Not even after all these months did Reich feel ready enough to open up about this. To say more than just get out.

He should've picked up on the signs- how weird his hand looked, how he wobbled on his feet sometimes. How uncomfortable and unhappy he was. How much he seemed to glare, and lose his once cheerful mood when Soviet would show up-

The blind country couldn't breathe for a moment. Tears were already pouring down his face as he hugged himself. On the phone and mumbling nonsense to the one person he never thought he'd call again. But honestly he didn't know anyone else that would pick up his call so quickly, even after everything.

He was just stuck crying in his seat, sobbing on the phone as Germany had been taken back to have more security and to be observed more closely. After what felt like hours of just sitting, AH eventually looked up, his whole body shaking as he nearly dropped his phone with how quickly he stood up.

Immediately being enveloped into a hug, Austria-Hungary hugged back so tightly- nearly falling off his feet as he was picked up by the much taller country. Just held in an embrace that he really needed right now. That he desperately needed.

He was still crying, unsure when he would stop at this point but eventually he was put down on his feet again. Not being let go of though as the other country got out a handkerchief and started to wipe his tears.

"Are you hurt..?" There was that small mumble from that voice that made him feel so protected, though he would never admit that it still did.

AH sniffed, shaking his head softly as he felt his eye patches being lifted up, making him blink softly as some large hands removed his tears and cleaned up his face. One held his face softly while the other held the cloth.

"I-I'm okay.. B-But they can't find Reich." He almost broke down into tears again, desperately seeking the warmth of the man in front of him.

The giant tried to calm the crying country in front of him. "It's okay.." He mumbled. Trying to comfort as he led him over a small couch in the corner of the waiting room. Sitting all their stuff down gently he took a seat, bringing the other back into a soft hug as he rubbed his back.

While AH cried into his chest, the rectangle glanced over, seeing some hefty police officers almost aimlessly walking around. He glared at them with his little beady eyes, obsessively his ex-husband was not in the mood to talk to them right now.

The two were stuck there for one hour, then two, and three. The rectangle was slowly shifting on the couch every once in a while. Still stuck with Austria-Hungary in his arms who of course was greeted with comforting back and head rubs.

Reichtangle tried to get the country to sleep- as it was obvious from his slouched shoulders and droopy expression that he had not gotten any rest for hours upon hours. He mumbled that he would wait for any updates as he tried to coax the other back to resting in his arms.
