Avah Manikova

I watch as Liam and Zayn struggle so hard to squeeze and fit Victor's unconscious body in Niall's now empty suitcase, his clothes piled onto the foot of the bed.

"Push harder!" Liam demands, breaking a sweat.

"I am, he's too fucking big!" Zayn snaps back, pushing against victor's shoulders to help fit him in. His body is folded up awkwardly like a beach chair, and it's really disturbing.

Niall snickers, "That's what she said," he says, making himself laugh and earn a glare from both Liam and Zayn as they struggle.

I look away, trying to distract myself with the fact that I'll be back in the bedroom I've claimed for myself and nice and clean after a shwoer I plan to take later today.

"Just a little––" Liam pushes more, ––there!" he exclaims, finally getting Victor's body to fit perfectly in the suitcase, taking up its entirety.

Zayn takes a breath out of exhaustion, "Thank–– fuck, zip it up!"

Liam nods, bending down and flipping over the top of the suitcase over Victor, closing him in. They work together to zip it up, making his presence almost invisible. Zayn and Liam both stand up and straighten themselves out, trying to take a breath from all the chaos.

"The uber is here, let's go." Louis says, staring at his phone in his hand.

Niall's eyes go wide, "Shit, shit, shit!" he says, scrambling to his clothes before beginning to throw them all in the first suitcase he sees, other than his own.

"That's mine!" Liam says, as Niall piles his clothes on top of Liam's.

"Don't care,"

Liam rolls his eyes as Niall finishes up packing quickly, finishing the job off by zipping it up all around. He lifts the luggage up to stand on its wheels, holding it by its side. "Okay, I'm ready."

They work together to push and pull the suitcase forward, giving it all of their strength as it slowly moves down the hall next to us. Louis shakes his head with a laugh, "Please, I think I need a picture of this." He says, diving his hand in his pocket and pulling out his phone.

"Don't you dare," Liam warns, groaning in pain from his troubled strength. Zayn grinds his teeth together, struggling.

Louis laughs, raising his phone up and focusing the camera on them. He clicks the white button, capturing the moment before tipping in the corner to see the picture. "Perfect," he says in satisfaction, before sliding the device back into his pocket.

"Delete it!" Liam orders,

But Louis shakes his head with a laugh, "Absolutely not!"

"Send it to me, would you?" Niall asks, chuckling. Louis nods, only pissing Liam and Zayn off even more. I find myself laughing at their banter, and I realize that these are interactions I don't get to see between them during times like these. They live a very dark and criminalized lifestyle, so seeing them all laughing and arguing like normal friends do is a new sight to see.

We make our way down to the main floor, where we hurry out the glass door to the uber waiting outside for us. It's a pretty big car, which surely will fit all of us. I just don't know how they'll get the heavy suitcase into the back considering there's an unconscious body in there. I really hope Victor doesn't wake up during this drive, or that would be really awkward to explain to the driver.

We walk down the steps, Niall and Louis helping Liam and Zayn carefully maneuver the suitcase down the steps as I approach the uber. The window rolls down and reveals a man.
