Chapter 7

"That's it? That was your reason for coming back here?"

"Yeah, why? Sorry, it's been years here before I came back. I'm not allowed to go outside of my planet since I'm the prince."

"Then if that's the case, why are you here?!" Kyo sighed at the stress he felt. "Where are your horns and tail?"

"Ohh I hide them. It will be dangerous if people see them, I can hide them now." Ren chuckles.

"Did you run away from your parents?"

"That's right." Ren said, winking at Kyo.

Kyo just stared at Ren, leaning forward and expanding his arm to point at Ren's chest, but not that much to touch him, as Ren was just watching what Kyo would do.

"What about this?"

Ren holds Kyo's hand, placing it on his chest, which made Kyo widen his eyes because of Ren's move, and he didn't feel anything. "He can hide this too?", he look at Ren who is smiling genuinely at him.

"I'm fine, you don't have to worry."

Kyo pulled his hand out of him and continued eating. "Then finish your food."

*FLASHBACK*

While Ren was on earth, he had a lot of fun with Kyo. They always play and eat together, which makes them really close. Ren really loves food here, and when they are playing, he always asks Kyo to touch the grass, which makes Kyo want to disappear from the world. They sometimes sleep and bathe together, which makes Kyo really annoyed.

There are some times when Kyo's sister joins them when they are playing. His sister never told anyone about Ren, that is a secret between them.

But months passed, and Ren was still on earth, waiting for his ship to turn on. When Kyo saw him observing the ship, he walked towards Ren.

"Still no response?"

"Yeah."

Ren looked down, looking disappointed. Kyo tapped his back as the two of them walked away and sat on the ground, staring at the ship in front of them. Kyo glanced at Ren, who was really looking so worn out and tired.

"Ren, nowdays... You don't look so good. Are you okay?"

"Huh?" Ren looks at Kyo.

"You're so pale."

"I'm fine." Ren said, giving off a weak smile.

"Maybe we should head back instead?" 

"I think that's a great idea."

As they decided to go home, Ren felt the breeze was getting cold, which is weird because for Kyo, it's just normal. When they arrived at Kyo's room, Ren suddenly collapsed.

Ren opened his eyes. Seeing Kyo beside the bed he was lying on, he stared at his naked upper body.

"Are you okay? I took it off because you were panting, I thought you're lacking in air." Kyo said, worrying about Ren.

"Thank you."

Kyo's eyes lowered at Ren's chest, staring at the black thing with a blue faintly glowing on it attach on Ren's skin.

"What is this?" Kyo asked, pointing at the thing attached to Ren's chest with confusion.

"Ohh that? It shows how stable my health is?"

Why is the color so bland? Looks like it's fading."

Kyo's eyebrows furrowed, then his eyes widened, and without a second thought, he immediately rose from where he was sitting.

"Wait! Are you saying that your health is not in a good condition now?!"

I made this story for fun, but I just want to tell you that this is not just a wholesome story, I'll change it to mature when the interaction between them comes😐.
