Chapter 3

*FLASHBACK*

"Whoosh whoosh"

A sound coming from the sky is becoming louder. An unfamiliar ship landed exactly in front of Kyo as he witnessed a child like him with horns and a tail coming out of that ship.

"Please don't explode... Please don't explode..." the child said, sounding like he's worried.

The child noticed Kyo, who was sitting on the grass holding a paper and a paintbrush. The child was positioned as if he were going to attack someone. Kyo was startled and dropped the things he was holding. He tried to stand up but failed to do it.

The child stops when he notices that Kyo is scared. He walks towards Kyo, who keeps moving backwards.

"Wait! I thought you were gonna attack me."

Kyo kept silent, just staring at the child. The child walks towards him again, but he just steps backward again.

"Help me, please... My name is Ren."

Kyo entered through a window in his room to get inside. He gets down from the window, gesturing with his fingers and telling Ren to get inside.

"Why are we using the window? Aren't we supposed to use the door instead?" Ren asked with a confused look on his face, getting down from the window.

"It's not a good idea because of your appearance. My parents will freak out when they see you."

"Why? Do I look scary?"

"Well... you have horns and a tail, and I don't."

"Now that you mention it... why don't you have these?"

Kyo tilted his head sideward as he frowned, staring back and forth at Ren's horns and tail. "Isn't it more questionable that you have those...?"

Ren touched his horns as he smiled at Kyo. "Ohh... I can't hide them yet."

"Yet?"

"Hahaha, Yeah... My parents can hide theirs." Ren lay down on Kyo's bed and bounced a little when his skin touched the bed surface. "Ohh... this is comfy."

"Hey! Don't lay down on my bed without my permission!"

Kyo keeps pulling Ren out of his bed, but he didn't even budge a little. "Why is this little shit so heavy...". Ren pulled him, causing him to fall onto him, and Kyo made a sound, "Ughh!" Ren lifted him and put him beside him.

"Sorry about that, but why don't you join me instead?"

Kyo was shocked when he was lifted and put down by Ren. "What with this guy... We're both kids, right?"

Kyo stayed still and just joined Ren, who was lying and staring at the ceiling. Kyo sighed before he talked.

"Why do you even have horns?"

"Why not?" Ren chuckled.

"Huh! What kind of answer is that?"

Ren sat on the bed, causing the bed to move up and down. He glanced at Kyo's room, fascinated by what he was seeing.

"Where am I anyway? I mean... what is this place?" Ren looked at Kyo, who was still lying on the bed.

"What do you mean?" Kyo sat in front of Ren.

"I mean, there's a lot of things here, like those green things on the ground earlier, above us is blue... with creatures flying on it."

Ren stares at Kyo with a worried smile, "You see, Kyo... I'm not from this place, so please help me."

Kyo's eyes widened at what he just heard from Ren's mouth.

The next 2 weeks are my midterms, so I dunno if can update it, but I'll try😭

Btw this is my first story that I uploaded in a official app, that's why I'm kind of nervous about it, I hope you like it though.💀
