It didn't take him long to get to the V tower. Still smelling of rye from the night before. It didn't matter much to him. The V's wouldn't live long enough to tell anyone of his improper form. The smell would be masked with their blood soon enough. Each step he took solidified his hung over ideals even more.

It was always going to end like this. Alastor smiled with all his fury. Fury at the situation, at himself, At the V's. They were a nuisance to him for far to long. He only kept them around because he thought it was funny. It was no longer funny. The threat on Angels life made sure of that. The  marks on his body. Bruises left behind by Valentinos harmful touch.

All this time. While they were playing this game, even before then. Angel had been getting hurt. Alastor knew. He suspected. He didn't care at first. It was Angels choice. His mistake. But now, now it angered him to the point he felt his insides crawl with fury. So this is how it was going to end. He was going to devour the V's.

Alastor played it casual as he twirled his cane, heading into the V's tower as a few souls came out. Bruised and scarred. A woman flinched at his presence. Placing her hands around her head as she shook. She was dressed in something rather provocative. Another porn star. Alastor concluded. As she passed all he could see was Angel. Limping, curling up on himself as he openly let tears run down his face as she did. And no one bothered to notice. A few souls coming in after him, talking and laughing as if she didn't exist. How many times had he walked out like that. How many times had he forced himself forward with a smile when someone he knew was hurting the way he was.

Alastor stopped in the center of the main lobby. He tilted an ear as he looked around. The place was packed with people coming and going. Advertisement all around the main floor. A few models for cloths. Some new techs. A love potion. But the biggest and brightest was of Angel. The man sitting shirtless, showing of his lovely markings for the world. One of his movie titles shining above him. Sales and deals. Alastor could of rolled his eyes at the amount of advertisement all around.

It was insufferable. You could hardly see the walls with all the posters and product placement. Alastor looked up at the cameras all around. He smiled wide at one that swung to look at him. He leaned on his cane ever so slightly to seem more lax then usual. He then began walking, carrying a skip in his step as Vox watched him. And he knew it was Vox watching. He was use to the feeling of the brat staring at him. He walked into the elevator with a few other souls. Letting the doors close before he tapped the bottom of his cane to the floor. The elevator darkened as he emanated a green pulse of electricity. Knocking out the cameras and any other eavesdropping device that may be in there.

The elevator paused then began to move again, the lights didn't turn back on though. Leaving him in the small box with two souls who were now cowering in the corner together. He turned to them, his features glowing in the dark. Making them jolt.

"Excuse me, do you work for Valentino" he asked the two. The taller one gulped and nodded. Uttering a shaky yes. "How unfortunate, do you perhaps know if he is in the building today" he asked as he gripped his cane. Doing his best to not seem angry. The smaller one gripped on to their coworker.

"8th f-floor, S-studio 5, th-that's Angels s-studio so it-it's where he'd be" they answered. Alastor gave a filtered laugh. The elevator sored up passed where the two needed to go. They stared at the now silent man. But Alastor couldn't be bothered to pay them any mind anymore. The elevator stopped and the doors opened. Alastor took a step and a hat much in the shape of a fedora appeared on his head. He stepped out of the elevator then reached up to tip his hat to the two.

"Thank you, have a wonderful 'eternity'" He spoke the last word rather darkly. His features deepening for only a second as his voice deepened. They stared at him wide eyed and with that the doors closed. Once closed the lights began to flicker on and the two gasped. The smaller soul hurried to tap the button for their floor. The taller of the two, shakily took out her phone.
