This whole situation was so conflicting. Angel partly didn't want the others to be hanging around. He wanted to finish a meal with Alastor. Despite the stunt he pulled for the game. Angel was having fun just hanging out in silence. The man reading one of his brothers books as he cooked then sitting together to enjoy his cooking. And Alastor enjoyed it. It was like life came into his eyes at the flavor. His face flushing a little at the excellent cooking job Angel did. Then his friends had to come and ruin it all. Then subject him to stories of a party he couldn't join because he was being watched.
He was pissed at his friends but pleased they were having fun. Even Carla. Despite their bickering he knew it was because of her condition. It had nothing to do with him. He was just an easy target. But she was always excited to tell him when good things happened to her. Drinking his smoothies he made her. She'd probably end up getting more nutrition then the rest of the group. They ate together then hung out for a long time in the living room. So long in fact that Alastor snaked the book off the table with his voodoo powers. Continuing to stay outside and read. It was a little upsetting he couldn't have both. His friends funny sex stories and Alastor in the same room.
They went on so long Dexter began to crash. Calling it, Rachel passed out on the couch long ago. Tweeting in her sleep. Angel eventually retired. Taking one last look at Alastor. He was content with being outside. Using the light of the house to read. So he left the lights on for him. He'd come to the room when he found everyone was gone now. But he never did.
Angel awoke the next morning with him still being gone. Not situated in the chair as he was the previous night. Angel was a little disappointed. He got up, the light so vibrant in the house. He came down to the living room. Seeing Rachel still passed out on the couch. Snoring more now. He chuckled at her, wrapped in a blanket and her miss matched swim suit. Angel glanced outside.
Seeing Alastor sitting at the table out there. His mug and newspaper in hand. Such a man of habit. Angel turned to start the coffee machine. Checking the fridge, there was enough left overs for people to eat if they were hungry. Even for Carla. He grabbed a mug then migrated outside where the man sat. He slid open the door and his ear ticked. Angel smiled at it. Coming around to sit down across from him. Alastor over at him, folding his paper.
"So you've decided to awaken. I was curious if you'd sleep the whole day away" Alastor spoke. Setting his news paper down completely. Angel chuckled as he took a sip of his coffee. "This is early Al. Usually on these trips we party all night an crash all day. Should o' heard some o' the thing's that went on" Angel waved his hand down. Alastor set his elbow on the table, placing his chin on his knuckles. Facing Angel now. He began reciting the things that had happened at the party, leaving out all the sexual things mostly.
"It sounded like a riot. Then ok so most people don't know this but Rachel had a dislocated jaw an still is getting injections in her joint to keep it together. So she was tryin ta ham herself up ta these Johns. An she tried taken in pool balls. It's s dumb game hoes do ta show how much they can fit it. My record is five. But thats like whateva. So she got two in before her jaw locked because of the injections. So her beak was stuck an she had pool balls in her mouth. An they couldn't get them out. So Cherri told her ta swallow them. Hahaha She had ta swallow pool balls cause her jaw hates her" Angel laughed hysterically at the story. Finding it more funny then Alastor did.
Sure it was humorous. But not as entertaining to think about as the way Angel laughed at the idea. He chuckled into his half finished mug. Having been so lost in his stories he hardly touched the beverage. He set it down then looked into the house. Seeing the others start weaving around the home. Grabbing things to eat and trying to wake up.
"My those are quite some stories. How unfortunate you missed it" Alastor spoke to him. Angel galnced his way and kept looking at him. He shrugged at the thought. "Eh yuh been ta one beach party yuh been ta em all. They're all kind a the same. It's jus a way ta let lose an get wild. But yuh know, yesterday wasn't terrible. Can't remember the last time I rolled down the hill or eve jus looked at the sky. So yuh know it's, it's own fun" Angel rambled a little. Taking another drink of his coffee.
