Understandably Lucifer ran to Charlie with his problems. As Alastor predicted he would. The noise of it is what filled the woman's office. She sat at her desk, hands in her hair as her father complained about what the man did. Alastor on the other hand stood with his hands behind his back. Waiting for a moment to speak.
"If I may, I don't recall such a thing. I was asleep this morning till Lucifer came to bang upon my door" he faked. Fixing his bow tie as he spoke. "Bull shit, you're the only one who broadcasts" Lucifer yelled. Alastor set a hand on his chest and pretended to be surprised.
"Well now that is simply not true. There are many people still using radio as their medium. Are you blaming me for waking you simply because radio is my passion" Alastor raised his hand to curl his fingers around his palm. Lucifer blinked at him. His eyes darted around as he scrambled to find a connection.
"It had to be you" he reasoned with no real proof. Charlie groaned and they both looked at her. "Dad your doing it again. Your being unjust to our guests. Now ok I know Alastor your not really a guest and just here uh to watch us fail. But the fact is you still help with the hotel. Without you we wouldn't have a hotel at all. Granted it uh got destroyed in heavens battle but the point is your still a valued member of our crew in the mission of redemption. Despite being uh creepy our residence like and respect you" Charlie stood from her desk to stiffly walk around it.
"You only have one patron, and something tells me its not my fault" Lucifer darted his gaze to Alastor. The man simply hummed where he stood, looking the office over. The walls were decorated by large paintings. Mostly of her mother. Standing superior to every one else.
"True... Sir Pentious scarifies was..." Charlie shook her head, tears starting to form in her eyes at the thought of the man. "It just means we should spread the word of the hotel, that it's a welcoming place. A good place to be. For any soul who wishes to find redemption. But Dad we have to understand those souls would of made mistakes in their time her. Done things we don't agree with. We have to be accepting, forgiving. Let them know they are safe and in a judgment free zone. Accusing Alastor of messing with you with an alarm clock of all things is the opposite of the atmosphere we're trying to create here" Charlie rambled as she walked about. Tossing herself on her desk to sit in front of her dad.
Alastor could laugh at her lecturing the man in her innocent kind of way. It was an interesting dynamic, he could watch for hours. Seeing the man predating humanity hang his head low as his own daughter spoke lessons to him. That is until something flashy walked by the always open door.
He turned his head, his radio station turning on to play a rather distorted tune. To static to really hear the beat or make out the words. The song skipping beats. A low voice singing in the distortion.
'Something is happening and it started happening when you walked by-ya. Something is happening and it's changing everything do you know why'
He shook himself and the song filtered out. He turned his attention to the two hellborn. Both staring at him wide eyed, unsure what happened.
"A lovely sentiment my dear Charlie. If you'll excuse me though there's a more pressing matter I must attend to" Alastor spoke then fixed his coat. Heading to the door. Setting a hand behind his back as he swayed out to the hall. Unaware of the two glancing at each other then fallowing to peek out the office door. No his sights were set on Angel as he walked down the hall. The man perked, hearing his steps. He had quite a nack for hearing people coming. He was never surprised by Alastor's sudden appearance. He stopped and looked over at Alastor, phone in hand. His usual makeup setup on his face rather then the mess he had on that morning. Even his outfit was more palatable. With his blue odd the shoulder crop top and little pink shorts with hearts on them.
