One winter evening, as a heavy snowstorm raged outside, the three of them huddled together by the fireplace Taeho was asleep, his small body wrapped in a thick blanket, his head resting on the tall brunette's lap. Y/n sat beside them, her eyes reflecting the flickering flame. As the sun set in a blaze of orange and pink, they sat together on the porch, watching the fireflies dance in the twilight. But suddenly they're peace was snatched away by the ragging firing. The tall brunette rushed all of them inside the cabinet and shut the main door. He rushed into the basement and got all his weapons. He gave a revolver to Y/n and stuffed himself with bullets as they nodded to each other.
We had no choice but to evacuate our home since we were encircled by Mr. Kim's hitmen. We exited our wooden cabinet house and strolled in the direction in front of us. My baby hugged me firmly, as if he knew what was going on, and the poor kid was afraid. His dread made me sad; it made me feel helpless once more. I ran along the unfamiliar route. Jungkook was behind me, taking cover and shooting the guys that were following us. They occur more frequently as he kills. It appears that these criminals will never leave us alone. I was losing my sanity, but I had to restrain myself as I needed to protect my family. I simply cannot allow them to be harmed while I am still alive. With that, I dragged my kid behind me, bound him with the drape I used to flee our mansion, and made him hug me like a koala bear as I took the weapons from my side pockets and began shooting back. I killed a few hitmen, which made me delighted. I was now assisting my husband, which naturally made me very proud because, as in the past, he was the one protecting us.
"Y/n, silly girl, why are you turning back? Simply go away and keep Taeho safe. I mean it, Y/n. Leave me and get away safely."

They continued to run while the baby cried. His innocent cries made his parents desperate to find a way out of this nightmare. But that didn't deter those ruthless hitmen. One of the hitmen charged at the pair, shot her in the calf, and she lost her footing and crashed on the rough floor. The tall hitman caught their baby, which caused Y/n and her husband to pause in their tracks. This tiny little man was their universe, and they cannot afford to lose him after nine months of suffering. Y/n regained her strength and rose up, her right leg still bleeding profusely.
