As the yellow school bus pulled away, Y/n waved until she could no longer see Taeho's small face pressed against the glass. Smiling softly, she tucked her hands into her jacket pockets, taking a deep breath of the crisp morning air. The house was quiet again, and she relished the calmness of her surroundings. After a long night, she felt a sense of peace wash over her as she tepped back onto the porch.

In the kitchen, she began to prepare a simple, hearty soup, one that filled the air with warmth and the smell of slow-cooked vegetables and beef. She seasoned it gently, letting it simmer to perfection, filling the quiet morning with rich scents that brought a comforting sense of home. Pouring the steaming soup into a bowl, she placed it on the ooden railing of the patio, where she planned to cool it down a bit before enjoying it.

Moments later, the tall brunette appeared in the doorway, adjusting his shirt, fingers working at the knot of his laces as he prepared to leave for work at the factory. Distracted, he swung his arm back and knocked the bowl of soup off the railing. The bowl clattered to the wooden floor, spilling soup across the planks. Startled by the noise, a small squirrel scurried down from a nearby tree, eyeing the spilt soup curiously. The tall brunette watched, intrigued, as the tiny creature approached the mess, sniffing the warm broth. With a soft chuckle, he knelt to watch the squirrel more closely, feeling an odd sense of joy a the animal's sudden interest.

But as the squirrel began to drink, something went terribly wrong. Almost instantly, the small creature wobbled, its tiny paws clutching at the ground as it staggered. The tall brunette 's amused smile faded, replaced by concern and horror as the animal collapsed in front of him. His heart pounding, he reached out, gently scooping up the small body. He checked for a pulse, any sign of life, but the creature was still, limp. His brows furrowed as he tried to piece together what had just happened. Soup didn't do this, he thought, glancing at the spilled remnants. Something wasn't right.

"If this soup can kill this poor creature it could have killed me immediately as well. In fact this was made with an intention to rip my soul apart."

With a sudden urgency, he stood up and made his way back to the kitchen, his eyes scanning the counters. There, by the stove, he spotted it, a bottle of rat poison, lying almost carelessly near the corner. His breath hitched. Turning on his heel, he marched to the bedroom, his jaw clenched as he processed the implications of what he had just seen. His heart raced with anger, fear, and disbelief, the weight of the moment pressing down on him. Inside the bathrotherwom, the soft sound of running water echoed, cutting through the silence. Y/n was in the shower, unaware of the storm building just outside. Without hesitation, he strode into the bathroom, the steam hitting him as he entered.

"Y/n!" His painful yell echoed into the eerie silence.

The tall brunettee's voice was sharp, filled with accusation, as he reached out, grabbing her by the arm, pulling her out of the water's stream. She gasped, startled, her wide eyes meeting his as she instinctively tried to cover herself, but his grip was firm, his expression cold and questioning.
