I don't know how I got up the next day, but I did and I made it on time on the plane.Grabbed my blanket, my headphones and sat down on my private plane.
Harry sat down across from me, I was happy he wasn't a morning person either.
"Remind me why we are doing this again?" I asked, looking at him.
I knew why I was doing this, because I had to.But why was he so eager to come with me?
He pulled his phone out of his pocket, showed me a picture of a very handsome guy. "That's Charles Leclerc, he drives for Ferrari"
Fair enough.
"So you're flying to another continent to see him, driving with an helmet on his pretty face?" I asked, smirk on my face because he clearly didn't think about this.
"He's hoping he will meet him, before the race" Juliana laughed, sitting down as well.
"Or after" Harry shrugged.
"Keep dreaming Harry" I laughed.
"You're Daisy Wolfe, you'll fix this for me, right?" He batted his eyes, as if that was gonna convince me.
I rolled my eyes, putting my headphones on and tried to catch up on some very necessary sleep.
———————————-
"This is the life we deserve" Harry said as we walked in our hotel suite. It was honestly beautiful. It was probably bigger than some apartments around here.
He immediately walked to the balcony, putting his hands in the air. "Why do we even live in America and not here?"
"Because you can't afford it" I chuckled, grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge.
"I don't know what the flavor is you're drinking but you're drinking hatorade" he said, looking back at me.
It was already late when we arrived, but unfortunately I was not tired at all because I slept a lot on the plane.
"I am gonna take a quick walk, you guys will be fine without me?" I asked, looking at all of them.
Pretty stupid question because this hotel and room was amazing, but I also wanted them to know that I wanted to take a walk alone.
"Are you gonna take your security?" Hazel asked. I shook my head and put my finger on my lips. "Don't tell them"
"You should at least take Jake" she said. Jake was my head of security, very fun guy to be around but I didn't want to take him, nor anyone else.
"Right, I'll go get him on my way out" I said, grabbing a hoodie and putting it on.
I wasn't gonna get him on my way out.
But Monaco was absolutely beautiful, especially under the lights.
I was looking at all the yachts in the harbor, the lights illuminated the ocean beautifully. This place was so different from America, from LA.
No one bothered me here, I could actually walk around without people running after me, without people trying to take pictures.
Without damn paparazzi everywhere.
"Are you planning to jump?" Someone asked from behind me. "Heard the water is pretty cold"
"Ah too bad, I was just planning on taking my clothes off and jumping in" I chuckled, looking behind me.
I also had to admit that Monaco had some handsome guys. Like this one in front of me. A tan, fit guy with blue or green eyes.
Probably around my age.
He was also wearing a hoodie, backwards cap on his head and a necklace around his neck.
"Hey, don't let me stop you" he chuckled, putting his hands in the air.
"Thought you were trying to stop me just a few seconds ago?" I asked, sitting down on a bench.
"No, just warning you that the water was cold"
He sat down next to me and for some reason I didn't mind that he was sitting next to me. I didn't want to be alone anymore.
"Are you here for the race?" He asked, looking at me. I nodded. "Yeah and you?"
"Yeah definitely am" he chuckled. "Did you get invited or something?"
Okay, maybe I just didn't look like I knew a lot about F1, which I obviously didn't.
"Yeah, Ferrari invited me" I said, he had literally no clue who I was and I kinda liked that. He treated me like a normal person. "You?"
He chuckled again. "I got invited by Mclaren"
"Cool, then I'll see you tomorrow?" I said as I got up. I didn't want to leave him yet, but I already saw people coming up to us, taking their phones out.
And for some reason I didn't want him to know who I was, not yet.
"Uh-yeah?" He looked confused. "Are you leaving already?"
"I turn into a pumpkin at 12" I said, putting the cap of my hoodie on and walking away.
Okay smooth Daisy, very smooth.
