Checked in a nearby hotel and spend the night there. Harry told me she would have a free day today, so it was the perfect time to 'surprise' her at her house.

Don't know if she was gonna be happy to see me.

Hopefully she would.

So I dressed up, fixed my hair, wanted to look good for her.

When she opened the door, her face immediately dropped. "Lando? What are you doing here?"

"Coming to visit you" I said as cheerfully as I could. Didn't want her to know I was actually here to tell her how stupid she was.

"Uh-right okay" she said as she took a step back to let me in. "I didn't expect someone today so yea-"

"You still look absolutely beautiful" I interrupted her. She was wearing a top and shorts, her hair in a high bun, probably no makeup at all.

And still, she was the most beautiful girl for me.

"You look handsome as well" she smiled a little. A little blush on her face.

This was the Daisy I fell in love with.

"So yeah, this is the living room, Harry is here as well" she was giving me a tour and I had to pretend as if it was the first time I saw her place.

Harry waved at me, he was laying on the couch, scrolling on his phone.

"And Juliana is somewhere in here too" she added.

I like the fact that her friends felt at home at her place, I was like that as well.
And besides, her place was big enough.

"Do you maybe want to sit outside?" She asked. I nodded. "That would be nice"

So she showed me her garden and sat outside with a couple of drinks.

And we talked for hours, mostly about me because she was ignoring every question about her.

"So-" I cleared my throat. I was done with the small talk. "You're back with your ex?"

She threw her head back and started laughing. "No"

"Okay? Because I saw the pict-"

"Yeah it's a damn old picture. My new manager, Juliana, told me not to react to it while my case against him is still going"

I couldn't explain how relieved I was to hear that.

"Are Harry and Juliana sleeping here as well?" I asked. Trying to test my luck here.

"Yes, they have their own room here, it as much their house as it is mine now"

I nodded. Cute. Very cute. She was so different than you would expect her to be.

"Are you staying in a hotel?" She asked. I could lie and say no, but I definitely didn't want to lie to her so I just nodded.

"You wanna watch a movie?" She smiled. "I have a whole movie room, I think you'll like it"

She was so excited to show it, and even though I already saw it, I was gonna pretend as if I didn't.

She got up, grabbed my hand and pulled me with her to, probably the best room in her house.

Except for her bedroom, that was gonna be the next step. Not to have sex, but to cuddle her.

But the first step was to try and cuddle her here.

And honestly, I was quite nervous for that. Nervous to get rejected again.

We laid down on the huge couch, she put on a Disney movie, which surprised me, because even though they dropped her, she still watched their movies.

She was laying on her back for most of the time, until she curled up and crawled next to me.

Put my arm around her, pulling her closer and I was half expecting that she would look at me with a frown and back away, but she didn't.

She cuddled up to me, put her head on my chest and wrapped her arm around my waist.

It was the most intimate moment we shared.

Forget all the sex, that didn't compare to this.

Because for the first time in a long time, I could feel that she was herself again.

She fell asleep on my chest and I didn't wake her up. I enjoyed this way too much. So I just fell asleep with her.

Don't even know how I manage to do that because my heart was beating faster than it ever did before.
