Didn't really think it through when I asked her to go to Disneyland together.
Just thought it would be a cute thing and she seemed excited about it so even better.
But as soon as we arrived there, I already noticed why she didn't like to do things in public.
She was wearing a Mickey cap and sunglasses, not to look cute, but so people wouldn't recognize her. I gladly did the same, and people left us alone for quite a while.
But one person asking for a picture, quickly turned into many many more.
"I am sorry" she said as she walked back to me. "That's okay, you want ice cream?"
"I absolutely do" she nodded enthusiastically.
She took her cap and sunglasses off and gave them to some fans who asked for a picture on our way there.
"You don't want them anymore?" I chuckled. "Nah, you can buy me some Disney ears" she nudged me with a smile.
She was kidding, but I would buy her everything she wanted.
So before we sat down with our ice cream we actually went to buy her some cute ears. She just wanted black ones, nothing too special.
"Cheers" she tried to mock my British accent, licking from her ice cream. "Yeah enjoy your ice cream" I mocked her American accent.
"So I really want to meet Pluto and Minnie" she said. It definitely made me laugh a little, just because it was the cutest thing ever.
"I am sure they want to meet you too" I laughed.
So after our little ice cream break, we went to meet them. She was so excited and fuck, it made me fall.
This was the moment I realized I fell in love with her.
We enjoyed our day, watched the fireworks together. She put her head on my shoulder during most of it while I had my arm around her.
Was it all an act? It definitely wasn't.
Not for me at least. Definitely not for me.
She ignored her phone for most of the day, I actually enjoyed that. She didn't even look at it, just wanted to have a nice day with me.
We went back to our hotel room, probably the biggest room they got, and she immediately crawled on the bed.
"That was absolutely magical" she sighed, a happy sigh. "Thank you Lando"
"You don't have to thank me, I enjoyed myself equally as much" maybe even more.
I crawled next to her in the bed, we had two bedrooms but I was secretly hoping she would just fall asleep next to me, like our first night.
"Did you know that I'm gonna be in the beauty and the beast movie?" she turned her head to me with the biggest smile.
"No?" I matched her smile because I could tell how excited she was about it. "As beauty obviously?"
"Obviously!" She laughed, flicking her hair away. "Have you seen me?"
She was joking about that and even though I love her sense of humor, she actually was the beauty for me.
I put a strain of hair behind her ear, brushed my thumb against her cheek and looked her in the eyes.
I finally wanted to tell her how beautiful she was, how much I enjoyed spending time with her.
Fuck, I just wanted to finally kiss her.
But then her phone went off, disturbing our moment. She looked at it and immediately sighed. "Yeah David?"
She rolled her eyes and chuckled but her face soon dropped. "Wait what?"
She got up, paced around the room. "I don't care what you do, but fix it David, that's why I pay you"
She walked out of the room, to the other bedroom so I quickly grabbed my phone to see what was happening.
And soon enough, my face dropped too.
