"Arkham"

"You know, you didn't have to take it that far." Tim says as he fights off a goon. The boys had gotten the report from Gordon, and he had informed them that some of the Jokers goons were planting some explosives around Arkham.

"Can you focus on fighting instead of me." Damion says, as he fends off 3 foes. Dick jumps in along side Jason, "We get that you're a dick, but there's really a time and place." Jason calls out as he puts a guy in a chokehold.

Damion had taken out the three he was fighting, and was going over to help Tim. "She's annoying and she doesn't know when to mind her business." Tim grunts as one of his opponents got a hit on him.

"She's just trying to be nice! She just wants to be included." Dick yells out.

The four boys ended up taking out all of Jokers followers. They mostly made it without getting hurt, some mild bruising but other than that they were fine.

Damion huffs as he sweeps his hair back. "She doesn't have the slightest idea what we do, nor does she have the qualifications to fathom this life." He notices one of the goons still moving, so walking over to him he flips the goon onto his back.

Drawing his sword he places it at the guys throat. "Tell me what is the Joker planning, or I'll slit your throat." The man on the floor looks as though he was about to cry.

"Woah chill out Robin." Dick says as he places a hand on Damion's shoulder. Damion however nudges his brother's hand off.

"Tell. Me." He leans is face closer to the man. But he indefinitely passes out from fear. Damion scoffs as he puts his sword away.

He turns to his brothers with a blank face, "That girl can't handle this, so if you want to do her any good, you all will keep your mouths shut." With that he leaves, going off to find his dad since Bruce went after the Joker.

Dick groans, "That boy is going to be the death of me." He goes after his brother. Jason follows suit, but Tim lingers. His mind still on what Damion said prior.

Could you really not handle this way of life? Could all of this be too much, not just for you but for him too. He looks down at his gloved hands.

He grows frustrated, and decides not to follow after his brothers , instead going home.

"Wayne Manor"

Lying down, you stare up at your ceiling. You haven't been able to sleep, not since the conversation from dinner.

"Maybe Damion was right, what if I don't belong here." You say to yourself. You sigh as you close your eyes; figuring it would be best to get some sleep.

Your efforts were unsuccessful, you tossed and you turned. You were physically unable to get comfortable.

You trough your covers off, and decided to stretch your legs. You put on your slippers and make your way down stairs, and into the garden.

It was pretty chilly, but not cold enough where you couldn't stand it. You roamed the garden; sitting at the same stone bench you did in your first day.

You sigh as you stare up at the stars. "Oh mom, what am I doing here."  Your eyes water, but you refuse to let the tears drop. "If you were here you'd know what to tell me, what I should do." "Hell if you were here I wouldn't be here, with these people who don't want me here." One tear managed to break your barrier, but you wipe it away quickly.

"I want you here." A voice behind you spoke. You whip your head around to see Tim. The was in the same clothes as when he left.

"Have you been standing there the entire time?" You question. He just shrugs his shoulders and walks towards you. "More or less." He reaches the bench sitting next to you.

"You'd catch your death out here, it's freezing." He rubs his hands together, trying to catch some circulation. "It's not that cold, you're just anemic." You say as you lay your head on his shoulder.

He glances at you, "what are you doing out here anyways?" You glance up at him and shrug your shoulders. "Couldn't sleep. A lot on my mind."

Tim does a 'mmhm' wanting you to continue. "Damion's right you know. I just get in y'all's way, and I'm sorry for how I acted earlier." You fiddle with your hands, Tim takes a notice and lets out a sigh. "Y/n you don't get in our way, don't listen to Damion he's just an ass. Plus you had every right to act like that you're apart of our family now and you have the right to be included." You raise up from Tim's shoulder, and you shove him hard enough to push him off the bench.

"What was that for?" You remove yourself from the bench also. "That's for being so sappy. But thank you I appreciate it." You give him a hug, which catches him off guard.

Tim always hated physical touch, but ever since you've been living with them, he has warmed up to it. He hugs you back, but then pulls back once a breeze lulls over.

"Okay it's fucking freezing out here, can we go inside now?" Tim suggested as he wraps his arms around himself. You giggled as you both made your ways towards the door. Once you both were inside the manor, you both make your way to your separate rooms.

You toss your slippers off and jump right back into bed, just like you never left.
