"Night to Remember"

October 29th, 12pm
"Gotham City, Wayne Manor"

Alfred led your friends into the dinning room where everyone stood(except for Damian)(spelled it right this time).

The three stared at the interior in amazement—their jaws nearly dropping to the floor. Soon the three sets of eyes landed on you, and it was as if the breath was pulled from their lips.

Jamie was the first to step up to you—in his hands was a white corsage. His hands trembled as he opened the box and started to place it around your wrist.

"I don't think I've ever seen anything more beautiful than you hermosa." His shakily stated his eyes never leaving yours.

Your entire face grows worm as you begin to get flustered from the sudden compliment.

The cute but awkward moment was interrupted by someone clearing their throat, "Should we move on to your pictures?" Dick holds up a camera.

All of the pictures were took inside or out in the manor's garden. You and Jaime were finishing up some last minute shots when Bruce had to excuse himself.

"Okay now give me a straight face, look dead inside of the lens." Dick was taking his job as photographer very seriously. "They're taking hoco' photos Dick not their mugshots" Tim questions his brother's methods of photography.

"Boys. A moment." Bruce calls the boys inside leaving you, your friends and Jackie out in the garden.

"This is going to be so fun I'm so excited!" April bounced making her flapper style dress flow with the movements. "I highly doubt it, we're probably going to be there for less than an hour and grow bored of the same five songs—not to mention how stuffy it will be." Your attention turns to Juniper as she adjusted collar of her button down.

"Well then we can leave once they announce the King and Queen, that's all anyone ever does anyways." April says as she helps June with her collar; adjusting her Cuban necklace.

"I never went to my freshman or sophomore hoco' back in Detroit, so I don't get how these dances go." Jaime leads you to one of the stone benches letting you sit; knowing your feet were hurting from your heels.

"They're a waste of time really, all they do is pose a chance for people to pregame and get ready for the after parties." June fluffs her braided back puff, as April holds her phone for June to use as a mirror.

Jackie over hearing the conversation looks up from messing with the camera Dick had left. "Don't get any bright ideas, I alrighty know what happened to the last party you went to in this god forsaken city Y/n."

Inside with the boys, they stood around the dinning table, Bruce had just gotten off the phone with Commissioner Gordon.

"Gordon has informed me that there has been strong Joker activity in the areas around your school." Bruce looks towards Tim, "I want you to be on high alert, we're going to stay in the area, and I'm gonna get Barb on the phone to see if she can get a hold of Harley see if she's heard anything."

Tim nods his head already knowing what he needs to do. "I'm going to let you drive one of the cars tonight, if anything happens you get Y/n and her friends out of there no matter the cost." Tim feels his heart race with anticipation, the knowledge that something could happen to you or possibly anyone else tonight made him nervous.

"What if the kid finds out and we're comprised?" Jason folds his arms across his chest; raising a brow at his father.

"That does not matter, what matters is their safety, I made a promise that I will keep her safe." Bruce firmly announces.

Dick lays a hands on Jason's shoulder, "You can count on us Bruce."

October 29th, 9pm
"Gotham High School, Gym"

As Tim pulls into the parking lot outside of the gym your knee starts to bounce. Your growing nervousness very apparent to your brother in the drivers seat.

You weren't the only one nervous Jaime felt he was about to pass out. Not from anxiety of being around you or even the large amounts of people. It was his scarab.

He was talking like crazy, and it was driving him mad. And he knew that if he accidentally responded out like to him, than it will make him look insane.

April wasn't helping his situation either as she practically jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped. Making the rest follow her actions.

As you all step out, you took notice of all the people around, the different styles of dresses and suits that were worn. You had to admit for how boring Gotham was, people made up for it with their style.

Jamie comes up to you and offers you his arm, "You ready?" Giving him a small nod you wrap your arm around his and you both lead the way.

Tim offers his arms to both Juniper and April, which the latter immediately grabs on while Juniper shakes her head at her best friend and loosely holds on to the Wayne's arm.

As you five make your way into the gym, you are amazed with the decorations and how well thought out everything looked.

Some teachers stood around with cameras letting people know they were taking pictures. "Guys let's take a picture, you know for memories." April manages to convince you all to take a picture.(as if you all haven't took hundreds already).

As you all eventually make it towards where most of the event was happening Tim lets out a yawn. "This shit is already a bust, I say we flake." He looks around making sure there was nothing suspicious going on.

"Stop being such a damn party pooper and try to have a good time." You pull Jaime towards the middle of the gym; wanting to get some dancing done.

June unlatched herself from Tim, as April rushes after you and Jaime wanting to join you both. Juniper takes the opportunity to score you all a table.

The four of you were tearing it up in the dance floor when you look over and see Erin near the corner of the gym by herself.

Excusing yourself from Jaime you go up to her. "Hey!" You give her a large smile, but she looks at you with sad/tired eyes. "What's wrong? Why are you by yourself?" You look around thinking you could see her friends, but it was to no avail.

"Kami didn't want to come, and Austin ditched me for some girl so I'm kinda alone right now." "Thinking about ditching to go hot box my car." You listen to her rant as she moves her locs from her face.

"As fun as that sounds, how about you come dance with me and my friends?" You point over to your group of ragtag misfits and Erin gives a loose shrug. "Sure , I have nothing better to do."

You cheer to yourself and grab her hand leading her towards where you and Jaime were once dancing. Juniper takes a look at the two of her and her eyes couldn't leave Erin. She was completely mesmerized.

Leaving the table she had set up for you guys, she met you in the middle. "Guys this is Erin, she's gonna join up for the night."

The four others immediately invite her with smiles, and you all went back to dancing to the old outdated music.
