"Lonely Dates"

October 11th, 5pm
"Gotham high School , Gym"

"Alright girls let's pack it up!" Your cheer coach calls out to everyone. It has been a few days since your last practice due to the coach being absent, so it felt as though practice was even harder.

Having had exhausted your muscles you make your way over to your belongings; grabbing your bottle of water. You nearly down yourself with the refreshing liquid.

Placing the almost empty bottle back into your bag, you hoist it onto your back and get ready to make your leave.

You were stopped however by a few of your teammates, asking to hang out after school.

"Sorry guys but I have a date today." You tell them, they let out disappointed explanations but they end up leaving you be.

You let out a breath and make your way out side. You were glad to be out from practice, but you were also giddy from the fact that you had a date later.

Jaime had finally let you know when he planned the date, and what you guys were supposed to be doing.

You were more than excited you were practically leaping from the ground.

October 11th, 7pm
"Gotham city"

It was now a few hours since you have left your practice, and you were now on your way to your date. Jamie having sent you the location of where you both would be meeting.

"Are you excited?!" You look over at the person driving. "Not as excited as you are Richard." Dick had offered to be your chauffeur for the evening, and you couldn't pass up a free ride.

"I can't help it, it's not every day that I gain a little sister, and then she's already going on a date!" Dick was practically jumping in his seat.

You playfully roll your eyes at his antics. You take a moment to take out your phone turning on the camera to make sure you looked okay.

Dick took notice of this and glances at you, "Y/n you look great even if I was blind I could tell how fantastic you looked."

You grow shy from getting caught checking yourself out, but you thank your brother regardless.

Coming up at the restaurant Dick parks, and you could feel your heart pick up speed.

You were starting to panic, what if everything went wrong? What if Jaime didn't actually like you?

Seeing that you didn't make any moves to get out Dick lets out a sigh and turns to you; grabbing ahold of your shoulders.

Making sure that you looked at him, "Y/n it's going to be okay, it's just a date if anything happens you call me and I will be here in a flash. Or if you need me to bail you out I can also do that."

You giggle at his comment, and turn your head at the restaurant; letting out a heavy breath.

"Okay I'm going." Dick removes his hands from your shoulders and allows you to get out of the car.

Waving 'bye' you make your way inside. Looking around the building it was indeed fancy but not too fancy where you had to show out.

Not seeing Jaime anywhere you quickly text him.
