Everything has been going so fast, March is here meaning cherry blossoms are about to start blooming! And I can't wait for that.

My ankle has been doing a lot better, I've been taking my medications and I've been eating pretty good food portions.

Toshi and I have been pretty distant ever since we came back from the trip, the air has thickened again but this time it feels different. It feels warm and accepting, but yet it's awkward.

"Thank you for coming!" I greeted the elderly happily.

I'm covering Kimi's shift because she wasn't feeling good, so here I am. Me and I met working in our nearby convenience store, it's around twenty minutes from our dorms, so it's not pretty near.

"Come on in ladies! We gotta get refreshed and ready for tonight!" Some lady called out in a flirty tone.

"Oh my!" Someone responded and they all burst out laughing.

I look up from the computer to see about five ladies coming in, more like aunties.

I chucked. "Welcome!" I greeted them.

One walks up to me and I look down at the piece of paper she is holding. "You!" She points at me and my eyes widen. "Hang this piece of paper on the glass." She says handing me the paper. "We are looking for one more person to join our cool aunty volleyball club!" She says swinging her fist in the air.

I skim through the paper and read the information.

"H-how old are you guys?" I ask, curiosity taking over me. They seem to be pretty old to play.

"What did you just ask?" One of them interrupts coming over to us, with the other aunties.

"Are you judging us?" One said.

"You think we can't play with this wings ganging?" She says extends her arm and starts playing with her bat wings.

I chuckled. "Not at all. Is there an age limit?" I ask.

One of them raises her eyebrows and starts examining my hands, arms, and eyes. Heat rushes to my cheeks and I start looking around, trying to avoid all of their eyes.

"You played volleyball before huh?" She asks and my eyes quickly land on her dark ones.

"N-no!" I responded, "Will that be all for you guys?" I ask looking at each one of them.

"Yeahhhh~" she agrees.

While I scanned the items, I could feel all five of their eyes looking at me but I did my best to ignore them. I finished quickly and watched as they walked out of the convenience store.

I let out the biggest sigh and slumped down on the chair.

6:00 p.m

I grabbed my bag and exit away from the staff room, I'm out of work and I can't wait to get home. I changed into my running clothes before coming out so I was ready for my afternoon walk, I opened the door walked out, and tied my backpack hard into my back so I wouldn't move.

I walked back home, but on the way back I didn't feel safe this time, the whole time I felt weird.

I take my shoes off and set my backpack down, I didn't see Toshi so I'm guessing he is in his room. I shrugged it off and went into my room to grab my pajamas to take a warm bath.
